The research and benefits on the ingredient is studied at 5-8% concentration, which is very uncommon to find as a sub ingredient. It isn't a waste of money to invest in separate Niacinamide as long as you haven't found the moisture/sunscreen/whatever that has the good strength.

You need to apply moisturizer after applying the serum. Moisturizer is a must and should be the last step of your skincare routine to cease all the products on your skin.

When I travel I usually store them in a ventilated room, but the fridge is okay too, temperature doesn’t really change the effectiveness of some products
its just waste if you want nicotinamide for treatment of any skin condition use serum starting with 5 percent for general skin health use toner with less than 5 percent if your mosituriser, sunscreen already has nicotinamide then no need of toner but if you require it for any skin condition then use serum even if your mosituriser sunscreen has nicotinamide

But the concentration of vitamin b3 is very less in Cetaphil moisturizer. If you find 2-5% niacinamide concentrated moisturizer, that's good.
