You've really got it together with your viola !!I've got to tell you that coming from a B,mus performance Sydney Conservatorium in classical guitar and having the violin as a second instrument, taking up the viola, while only one semi-tone difference on the staff, it really messes with my head after always or almost always (started at 5 on piano but stopped a decade later) playing on the treble clef. Why is it messing with me so much I don''t know, I really don't. I just think it'll take time. Time, the great giver. I really like the tone on the viola having that low C string makes a BIG difference and I'm only using a $1000.0au German viola so no great instrument but the sound is sooo different to what I'm used to - violin/guitar. TIME, just time.
Very clear and smart. Great advice about keeping fingers on the notes in the key (for one finger scales).. Do you recommend using vibrato to play scales? (I see you do when playing slowly). Or is it better for intonation to play without vibrato?

I usually vibrate when playing scales... It helps me relax and work my sound.. Just make sure the pitch is centered and accurate! Thank you so much!
