Yeah man. Really good looking bird. And the tiger on the tail is in the box not pre-applied. So you can just go with all digital camo on the verts
Motion RC - Belgium Air Force F-16 have a Tiger painted on their jet, it looks good, but unfortunately not everyone likes exotic paint, but this is camo is very accurate to modern Russian VVS camo, and just like SU-35 desert camo is hands down beautiful.

What a cool plane - Freewing killing it again. Once battery technology evolves and we can fly something like this for 10-15 minutes, I will start considering EDF jets.
Might be waiting a long time. Just grab an extra battery and keep a charging rotation.
@@MotionRC Unfortunately very true. Would need a lot of extras. 3-5 mins flight time, 20-50 minutes recharge time. Not to mention this beast takes 2 monster batteries ($$$!). I'll watch CZcams videos enviously for now.

After jumping into the Freewing F-14 as my first 6s jet- and surviving with the stock power configuration, I feel I am truly ready for this jet.
That's awesome! This one definitely flies easier and more powerful that the F-14
@@MotionRC It IS awesome. My brother shot an incredible 4K video of my F-14 this weekend, can you check it out on my channel? He zoomed in really well and held it pretty steady. The shots really make the model look so scale in the air. Zoomed in at that resolution, you can see the lights very clearly too- something we don't usually marvel at while flying.
I definitely need this in my hanger. I just have to figure how how to get it either in garage or storage. Basement is already full :-). This is another winner from Freewing and one of their most impressive yet. They keep getting better and better and as always I can't wait to see what's next :-)

Thanks so much for that! She is built for grass with large tires, high stance and new oleo suspension struts. And they even went with naca ducting over cheaters so less risk of rocks kicking up into your motor. You will love it

As3x and Safe are only EFlite/Horizon products. We don't carry those so we wouldn't do video for them. But As3x is just a gyro like any other, the safe feature just limits the bank angle of an aircraft to make it less challenging to fly

Awesome jet and great job on the part of the pilot. Does anybody know the thrust to weight ratio of the aircraft while using the 70C batteries?
Not at the moment, but the jet weighs about 9lbs 4oz without the battery and 2 5100mAh 70C Admiral Carbons weigh 3lbs 13oz.
Thanks for the information. I was looking for the easy answer but I can do the math (not my strong suit) and figure it out. Regardless of what the thrust to weight ratio ends up being I am definitely going to pre -order this awesome beast of an aircraft!

I wish they would have opted for a different paint scheme. One that doesn’t have a tiger face on the tail.
The tiger come included in the box, not preinstalled. Out of the box you get the non CAG digital camo on the outer verts 👊

Nice camo of Slovak Air Force Mig-29AS. I hope so you will made also Mig-29UBS (twin seat version) with hull number 1303, witch is famous for her Tiger camo. Just small isue about model accuracy - Mig-29 in this digital camouflage represents Slovak Mig-29AS witch is Mig-29A after NATO comunication compatibility modernisation. And Mig-29AS had different antena on the top, behind canopy of cocpit. Your model looks like standard Mig-29A but in camouflage witch came after Slovak modernisation to the Mig-29AS.

Motion RC no I fully understand that trust me I’m not hating I was so shocked when I first found your site and saw the huge arsenal of planes and the amount of detail and realism freewing provided being in the hobby for roughly 20 years it really shocked me to see that in pnp planes for what these things are sold for. I just have never been into the scale stuff until recently I purchased a 90mm f22 from you guys and I come from a extreme 3D prop planes and I am not going to lie I was disappointed in the flight times so much so that I sold it. I love the looks of all your planes but saw this coming out and just happened to see these videos of this plane making some
Respectable flight times and I almost pulled the trigger on a preorder just scared to get it and flight times are no where near what I am hoping for.
Motion RC I have two options of using 2 6s 5000’s or 4 6s 3300’s I was planning on using in parallel to create two 6s 6600mah “packs” two 3300’s weigh 445g each so 1780g total for the set I’m sure that would make for some
Good flights just don’t know if the weight is too much? Only reason is I have 8 5000 6s and 8 3300 6s and trying to avoid hundreds of dollars of more money for new 6000packs

I just finished building this model. Noticed slight wiggle movement stabs/elevators, before connecting push rods. All hardware is tight as well. Any suggestions or thoughts??

what an amazing jet! How do you transport these? Will they fit in a F150 truck or are the wings easy to dismantle?
Definitely 4 screws to take the wings off. But it would fit in the bed without taking it apart
Are you planing to make SU-35 TV3D in that size. MiG-29 looks good, but nothing beats Thrust Vectoring and looks of SU-35.

I want one that's a really nice looking jet, it's a pitty we don't have any model planes to choose from here in Australia. all stocks of everything have been out for a long time now and it's really frustrating.

You can always make a pretty realistic one out of foam board if you really want to it’ll just take some work

Got mine 6/18. all set up but how do you calibrate the throttle. No instructions how to set low and highs. what tones ??
The ESC calibration is the first tone. Turn on transmitter > throttle full position > plug in battery > wait for first set of tones > bring throttle down > aircraft arms normally and it now calibrated

Very. 17g digital metal gear servo and the plate it's mounted to is mold to wrap 3/4 the way around the exhaust tube. Check our announcement video in the design portion and you can see the CAD. Great engineering

Which radio and receiver brand and model would u recommend for this amazing machine.
We sell our own brand of DSMX compatible receivers called Admiral. So you would need a Spektrum radio to work with it, but we always carry Futaba radios and receivers and those are great as well. All personal preference but if you don't already have a transmitter since you are entering the hobby, I wouldn't recommend this type of model for your first go. I want to buy it but I don’t have experience in flying this toy lol
maybe im a grumpy old man but i just dont get it. as an engineer and since being around flying before batteries i just dont get this full throttle 2:1 thrust flying requiring big batteries. i want reliability and longevity as well as spirited scale flight.
i regularly get 3 x the flight time (in EDFs, helis, drones and props) written on the box and that has spirited full throttle flying mixed with silent fly bys and half throttle flat turns and high alphas.
for this video i think ,as with many swept wing aircraft, the inverted flight is also important to know even just to see if there is enough down elevator to pull negative g and when the nasty rollout (if any) occurs.
as for the 70C pack the reason for saying it's better is not really an accurate representation. a 10c pack drains its whole contents in 6 minutes. if its truly 70C then it can pull 350A and drain itself in less than a minute. it'll theoretically give you a tiny bit more oomph but itll also weigh more, increasing wing loading. Also, higher stresses reduce life of components, so there is a deleterious penalty to pay also.
i dont know what ESCs and motors come with it but i doubt they are rated at any more than 100A so the 70C has very little practical advantage over a 30C pack.
personally i'd down size everything and get longer flights and better handling to be lighter. (twin 70s, smaller motors, smaller battery, smaller controllers, $100 cheaper).
Appreciate the comment, but no one said these batteries are better or worse. This is just 1 flight of many more to come on this model on various batteries and styles of flying. Bare with us, this is the only 1 in the states right now so we are learning it and will dive deeper as we get more flights on her.

- What an awesome news, few pips know that “Pugachev’s Cobra” maneuver was first performed in real life(I know that F-14 in movie “Top Gun I” is not a real life maneuver. Please don’t “write me a “letter”” Top Gun is my favorite movie of all times) in MiG-29 OVT(experimental Trust Vector version of MiG-29). If Thust Vectoring will be available that would make this great airplane that much greater. Jets are great, but 3D capable aircraft is a fun on whole new level! Slow flat spin turns times lower wing loading, I’m keep coming back here to see how slow and graceful this bird can fly!
P.S. I remember the time ~15 years ago, when electric motor were not a viable option on RC jets, and SU-35 was only available as a sloped glider in that great desert camo.

I’m not here to cause a stink. I am saying that once you pass this through a filter.
Your pilot did a lot of flying “off” the throttle and (which isn’t realistic for most consumers) and he landed in the double digit percentages on battery. It is a beautiful foam aircraft with really nice scale lines. The plan sells itself, all my point is to say is be real with us as the consumer. It costs 640 and another 240 dollars for batteries is steep. Don’t add disappointment to the already inflated price when we get the aircraft in hand and can’t turn the same numbers.
I look forward to seeing one fly in my area, but I know in our current atmospherics, 00:06:00 is a stretch.

There is nothing fake about this flight where we are not being real with the consumer. Nothing Patrick did in this flight is anything any RC pilot couldn't do or work towards. No complicated aerobatics, or crazy high-alpha maneuvers that risk the aircraft. This was just smooth flying and using throttle when needed/wanted. Isn't part of the RC experience to get better with each and every flight?
