i took my now 16 year old son to o2 for this show,all acts The Raven Age,Shinedown and Alterbridge were absolutely awesome,we both said in our opinion Shinedown should have headlined.One of the best gigs ever been to.Greetings to all from East London x.
This was so awesome, guys. Much better sound than the muddy sound of Alter Bridge afterwards. I am a long fan of Alter Bridge, and am so glad these guys saved the day!!! Will keep them on my list...
We walked (along with many more) out during AB, misses was so gutted they were bad. Sound engineer must have had a bad day sadly. Shinedown and Raven Age were the stars that night.
Support acts are always good under AB , feel like they have become complacent now, just play a few gigs in the U.K. and move on. Gone are the days of playing the guildhall in Southampton. Suppose they have done their time 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe because Brent was running tracks and lip syncing unlike AB. Brent has been doing the preaching crap for years, it's tiring. I guess so it gives the computer a break from running tracks.
These guys really did put on one hell of a show. Awesome band. I'd not heard of them before this show.. Alterbridge really didn't have the magic these guys brought.
@samperry209 yeah my misses has seen AB a few times, we ended up walking out 30 mins into their set. Awful, couldnt even tell which track was which. So many people walked out, even staff asked us if it finished early. Shinedown were spot on, even Raven Age was more enjoyable.
I tried my best to record under the circumstances.. I am just one guy.. was sitting further back and had to use allot of zoom .. but I hope you enjoy the video
So much hate for Brent . I was in a discussion on another site about what effects he adds to his recordings and someone came in who worked on production and said it's actually all him .no effects and how hard he works on getting it right . And you could tell this live wasn't mimed .
@romandame AB were awful at O2 21/12. It was a mass leave, even staff asked us if it had finished early. Sound quality was appalling, no excuses. We were sat right in front about 10ft above stage. You could not even tell which track was which, that bad unfortunately. However Shinedown you knew exactly which track was playing and every word sang. Sorry to say but from our point of view AB were the supporting band, Merry Christmas tho have a good new year

These guys played 20x times better than Alterbridge, we were sat right opposite and sound quality was superb unlike AB which was so distorted you couldn't tell which track was which. Sum up Shinedown were spot on 👌

They were brilliant on Saturday at the O2. Seen them twice before supporting Iron Maiden, I was instantly hooked then.
Not only does Brent have a great voice but my god he’s charismatic

Its a shame shine down wasted so much time with the preachy stuff. Their sound was definitely better than AB. And the set a bit boring

It's a shame AB didn't sound good that night, I saw them open for Disturbed a couple years ago and they sounded great

Went to this concert mainly for Alter bridge who were good but Shinedown wow best live band I’ve seen and I’ve been going to shows since 1970,!

Saw them in Nottingham and half the arena had left after their set because nobody wanted to see alter bridge
These dudes peaked on their 1st album. Just processed crap now. Sure..radio friendly singles...but, a shell of what they use to be.
