I like Henry Rollins. Sure I agree with almost everything he says, but that's not why. He's genuine. Theres not enough genuine people. Everyone has to stand out or fit in. No one can just think for themselves and act how they want to act because they want to act that way and not for show of some sort.

Rollins Band was one of the most intense bands I've ever seen live. I remember they blew the power out in the building one night. Only time I ever saw that happen in a venue and I worked there.
I love his music, since back in the day! I saw him do spoken word as well, in Madison, WI. We even share a birthday, lol. Feb. 13th. He's 1961, and I'm '65. ♥️

This must be what he was talking about. The criminal thing is that this live footage looks and sounds like it was from a dynamite gig. That would be a cool thing to see in its entirety. But no, it will gather dust forever because MTV isn't concerned with the past.

Biafra and Rollins are both really cool and educated guys who even at their age now can both still put on a show and both are still relevant to today. The people who hate them should go listen to Green Day or some other worthless band.

I'm from Pgh but I don't think it was a dis. I think he was just saying all cities look the same if you travel so much. A city in ohio looks alot like a city in wyoming when you spend everyday in a new city.

When I was in high school in the 80's. MTV sucked. They played garbage like poison while I was into underground punk stuff. Then Nirvana came out and MTV began exploiting good bands that have been around for years. Now that the 'fad' is over they went back to playing crap.

Go read a great work of literatrue, esp classics, or some dry philosophy, or learn about science, acces databases from universites and check out what's on the edge in quantum cosmology. Lifted lots of weight to The End of Silence and Weight while going though some bad times. Rollins' music....damn amazing.

I edited this with the producer and admire the man's words more than the music. Lots of angles and resolutions from meals, rehearsal + concert.
