    Great video Lauren! I bought a snoot a few months ago and I haven't been using it often since then. I've used it for a shooting this week as my key light and I fell in love with it! I feel like I'm going to have fun with it on my shootings to come :)

    Thank you. This was an excellent video. How long does this take you to shoot and edit? With the multiple camera angles and setting up the different modifiers it must have taken some time but the quality and time you take really shows. Loved it!

      @LaurenCarisShort  Před 2 lety

      Ahh thanks so much! This video took about half a day to film. I got food from a local restaurant to save time, and I have a brilliant editor for my CZcams videos now (czcams.com/users/YousefAH) - so that also saves me a LOT of time!

    Thanks Lauren - I shoot a lot food and drink in restaurants and bars in the UK. I usually shoot near window light and use small leds to push a bit into the shadows.
    I'd like to try lights because obviously Im at the mercy of available daylight. I was thinking of using 2 AD100, one shooting through a transparent reflector leaning against the table (usually no room for a light stand), the other AD100 putting a bit of light back into the shadows at the front of the food, so basically a back lit scenario.
    Do you think this could work in cramped space.

    • @LaurenCarisShort
      @LaurenCarisShort  Před rokem

      Hey Mark! Yes that sounds like a great setup for a restaurant. Quite often I'll just use one light because of space in a restaurant, but for backlit, your idea of filling the front a bit sounds perfect!

    On your previous videos, you've used a continuous LED. Now you're using a Speedlight, looks like the Godox AD200. Which is best? How do you choose between continuous and flash? BTW- I think your videos are very simple and informative, I love them.

      @@LaurenCarisShort If you didn't know: Thats a UK rebrand of the Godox AD200 (Pro). The latter will be a more commonly known name. Same product, different branding :) (In the US Adorama sells Godox stuff as Flashpoint). It's all cross compatible too.
