Awww, the way this quiet, talented, thoughtful person has grown in confidence and challenged himself again and again to get more experience and try things he is unsure about.... He is so incredibly BRAVE. Just think about debuting as the youngest (just days before your 18th birthday) of a massive group with so many powerfully talented hyungs and then going through all the ups and downs and pressures of EXO....Sehun has remained kind and loyal and wise through it all.
And up to now he's working on song production, doing even more solo projects and dramas, did multiple seasons of a reality show that scared the heck out of him, and still works so hard to develop his amazing dance style and musicality.
(and when I think that he used to think that being cute and being able to dance were the only things he brought to EXO.... sob)
However he uses his voice, to rap, to sing, to call out inappropriate behaviour, to argue for his song being produced the way he wants, to talk about how he sees the world.... Keep it up, Sehun, you are amazing :D

One thing that I love about EXO is how they support and cheer each other, even in their solo projects. That is why I will never understand people who try to put them up against each other. Especially Sehun who had been publicly showing his loyalty to his other members in his IG, sending food tracks, and being present in fan meetings and movie premier. One of the hundreds of reasons I love this group is that they are genuinely happy and proud for each other’s accomplishments: whether it’s an award, or a vocal part, or sharing emotions. I never ever see any sign of envy or jealousy among the guys. That is so so special and shows what good hearts and souls they have.
I think Sehun was close to all the 11 members. One of his most famous shipps were with Luhan and I personally loved their relationship. He's a really nice young brother and person. Happy birthday Sehunie!

And you add 1 year started from 1 january on that year, unlike international who get older age after the date of their birthday 😄
Yes koreans took 1 year more (from the months of pregnancy) tho they don't add years on birthdays, but in new year, everybody ages in new year but they don't on their birthdays, so yes sehun is now 27 internationally and 28 in korea (since new year)

in Korea, the day you are born you are already 1 yr old. And they get a year old every new year (not sure if all follows the regular Jan 1 or the lunar calendar). If you happen to be born in December, you are automatically a year old and come Jan 1, you'll be 2 (even if you're barely a month old technically).
S.Korea is very respectful of the age hierarchy. If you notice, Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol were all born in 1992 so they are considered friends and can talk casually to each other. However, Kyungsoo was born in 1993 but he casually talks to the three without calling them "hyung". That's because Kyungsoo was born in early January, just before the lunar new year so he is still considered same age with the beagle line as they were born on the same lunar year. So culturally, since Kai was born in January 1994, he could be casual to those born in mid to late 1993 and is considered a year older than Sehun. But since they're just 3 months apart, they just decided to be casual to each other so Sehun doesn't really call Jongin "hyung".
