- Sometimes I react to things. This time, I react to a thing that brought me an immense amount of joy: Taras Stanin's version of "The Hills." Beatboxing has always been a pretty interesting art, but Stanin's effects work feels like beatboxing in high art mode. Absolutely stunning.

He uses minimal effects, and if you look up a channel called Taras Stanin Fans you will find clips of him singing and beatboxing on live streams and not using anything at all. But there are no clips pasted together in his music... he does it in one take. but again, his live streams when he does these songs you can hear him doing this in raw form. It's amazing.
Do you know if he does all of the effects after recording a take, or does he do all the reverb and other stuff in real time, too?
And I have seen some of his raw stuff. He's VERY good. I wouldn't call myself a beatbox fan (it's an interesting art form, mind), but my god is this guy really good. The work he does is incredible.

@@alphabetstreamsI only know what he talks about in his live streams and from people reviewing who are audio engineering pros, and even a professional opera singer. Plus he’s done some on-the-spot short video takes in response to haters who call him fake. But from the live interviews/discussions with Anthony Ray and others he does some post, and some (like basic compression) are with the mic. He’s really careful with where he places what, though. And yes, he’s amazing!
He and Improver did a video for their GBB wildcard tag team entry that’s really awesome, and one of the coolest things about it is that they had done the same song, Zhu - Faded, previously “In studio,” and their entry video was done using an iPhone, using only the iPhone mic and the room they were in to actually “produce” the sound they wanted. Body placement (how close or far they were standing from the phone), and the room’s acoustics to create the video, and it was even better than the one they did with reverb etc. You should check it out.
Before one of Taras’s videos showed up on CZcams I had only held a serious respect for beatboxing and the boxers who’s skills are always so mind blowing. But after I saw the video of his that went viral, and I mean exploded big time, I was hooked, and like everybody else I had that impression of how in the world does he even do this? 😂 But the song that video is called “Creepin” things wide up for him.
@@ellaboobella8770 Faded is REALLY good, too. There are a lot of similarities between those two, but they're different enough that combining produces some great synergy. I hope they collab a lot more (even something with all that post processing, cause they could make something godly with that).

I seen a reaction with a different channel to Enrique Iglesias song I think it's called push with the same guy it blew my mind not only is it perfectly done but this man's singing it's absolutely beautiful new to your channel thank you for doing this video on another song I'm super excited to listen to it.

start learning the liproll!! It's fun to try and learn how to do that particular sound. I watched a couple tutorials on youtube, and watched/listened to Taras enough that my little lip roll bass is starting to sound good. Every now and then, I'll hit one that sounds perfect, it brings a lot of joy!!
You should do one of those "practice every day" vids where you show your development over time (though maybe late for this effect lol). It'd be really interesting to see what practicing and practicing does for the sound you can make!

@@alphabetstreams I'm like you not really a real beatbox fan just a 58 old dude lol, i'm into this for the music aspect. That's why i suggested to watch ''Vahtang''. He wrote a beatbox song for a online competion last year, and with the success of his friend Taras few months, they decided to work on that song in studio the result is amazing... the link is in ''The Community'' section on Taras page... see ya

Think this is good?? Check out his cover of SAME. The guy has just re-written the rule book on beatboxing just like PENTATONIX re-wrote the rule book on "A Cappella". Bloody amazing and talented young lad. Stanas and Improver, folks go and support both these amazing beatboxers👍👍
