The minute Perry picked up that fucking criterion I knew he was gonna say that shit from the Nicholas Winding Refn closet picks. Also, worth noting but the editing in your videos has gotten way better in the last month. It wasn't bad or anything before, but it's much more concise and feels like the commentary is more clean and to the point without rushing or speeding through which makes me want more of your content instead of just being okay when the video ends. If you guys liked Naked I reckon you would like Nil by Mouth. It’s a bleak british drama with some very powerful performances, especially from Ray Winestone and Kathy Burke. It’s written and directed by Gary Oldman. I’ve heard BFI are working on a blu ray release for it, still only available on dvd and probably hard to find in the US. It’s a shame I’ve literally never heard anyone mention it before except for one video by cinema cartography called The Aesthetic of Evil. It has a great soundtrack too that really stands out to me. It’s the most realistic film I’ve ever seen hands down. I love these bleak british dramas, This is England is another good one too, where the series is as good if not better

@@jesusperez7108 Nice I hope you can find it without too much trouble. What makes it all the more shocking is that Kathy Burke was only really know for her comedic role on Harry Enfield’s show, best known as Perry from Kevin and Perry. This role shows a completely different side that proves how good she is. She won best actress at Cannes for the role. Gary Oldman’s sister is also one of the characters. Apparently he only did The Fifth Element so that Luc Besson would help produce this film.
It’s probably the most hard hitting film I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a few. I don’t think many Americans know about this movie, there’s barley any reviews on it. Thanks for giving it a chance dude!

8 minutes in, and you put "The Vanishing" in front of "Two-Lane Blacktop" - and since these are such "unforgettable" experiences, you forgot Perry bought "The Vanishing" in the video you posted 10 days before this one. So, "put back and organized properly" and "unforgettable kino adventure" my a$$...;+) But seriously, Carlos, the "Brazil" special feature that's the best is the "Love Conquers All" version of the film, which is the one Warner Brother's was demanding when Gilliam took his cut and showed it to the L.A. Film Critics Association,, who awarded it best picture, best director and best screenplay. The "Love Conquers All" version completely changes the whole message and intent of the film and shows how Hollywood commerce can often ruin true film art. Strange that you didn't "connect" with "The Parallax View", but you were looking for "12 Angry Men" that, while a classic play, has been done to death by community theaters since the early 60s, and though well-acted, is really just a film version of the play.
