What I love about the drum solo is after it's over 9:38 Aron then swings an incredible feel as that bass keyboard note hits. I have no idea what he's doing to make so much space when he's still hitting a lot of drums. I would love to watch an analysis just of those 10 seconds. Then he delivers even more gargantuan short drum breaks. Then the song ends too soon, so you listen to it again, and again.

I'm a dinosaur, however, when I listen to this I totally get the synergy that they feel when it's only three people. Holy crap! Even though we're hearing studio recordings, you can't help but feel it. Aron is kind of the peak equivalent modern drummer sort of like how Stewart was basically "the" modern drummer of that moment.

I’ll be honest, saw a dirty loops video a while back and didn’t really give it much attention, but holy f**k! Very impressive and the sound is awesome 👏🏻 another brilliant pick. Loving this channel, makes me listen to stuff I otherwise wouldn’t 😎

This reminds me of Emerson Lake and Palmer. In the best way possible. They are absolutely mind-blowing.

I love the fact that this is a review by a drum teacher, and the one thing he doesn't mention in any comments is the astonishing drumming. Humbling, no??

Since your son is a fan of Dirty Loops, you have probably already heard it, but you should really react to "Work Shit Out". It is pretty awesome, and even includes a drum solo!

That was amazing... finding their train now! How about Larnell Lewis playing Coconuts? Such touch, finesse and dynamics!!! A true legend. Interestingly the third tom (black batter) is actually a 14x7 or 8 snare...blends great as a tom but then turns the snares on and it is a low punchy snare. Awesome, and never would've thought of that
