My Thar 2023 underbody rusted so badly! Paid 8000 rs to mahindra to do anti rust qouting. I have another car and it never had this issue.
My Thar starting throwing out smoke brand new in 2023 after driving only 350 kms! The smoke was coming so badly from engine area within 10 days of purchase. Then, Mahindra dealer changed a hose. So far ok.
Lots of rattling noise; Rear door rattling. Workshop quality is also very bad. They treat customers like I own a 30 year old CJB or MM540 jeep.
Thar is so bumpy even on a very good road! /Not suitable for family!
Do not buy a Mahindra or Tata product for at least 2-3 years after they launch the model. Lots of issues and they use us to test the car.

Even though I am not an engineering background, I can able to relate on the mechanical parts used in the vehicle, nice and clear explanation. My next choice would be a Mahindra.

To Everyone, why can’t you question them(Mahindra), what is the reason they purposely avoid 2nd row Sliding adjustment on all their cars.. I find it is a biggest deal breaker in 3rd row space.
I would say, mahindra doesn’t have a Proper 7 seater car yet.
Agreed he went on mahindra's invitation right.. they provided a stay that might include their travel even .. so how can he ask critical questions to him... If he does so next time he will be neglected in the launch event.... So there are things he can't express.... Once a wise man said "don't buy a car based on the launch event reviewers feedback"... The same person might give different feedback after doing an ownership review.... Your question is too valid becoz it's even provided in the budget car triber.... Y they can't is a big ❓
They had a proper 7 seater example like marazzo, Xylo but those had some other issues......

The engineering details in this video on vehicle development are extremely good and useful. I loved it! However, the experience was marred by continuous out-of-focus frames, poor camera angles, and unnecessary, "CONSTANT" camera movements. A word of advice to the cameraman: This isn’t a CZcams dance shorts reel. You need to sync with the discussion between the CZcamsr and Velusamy and capture the moment effectively.
