Love their music their voices are so beautiful.
I installed and have always maintained my own locs. They're now almost down to my butt. I wanted them small enough to do whatever, but as they've grown longer, they're more like ropes than hair. I love how yours looks like curls and looks like it can be easily manipulated into any style. I think I'm about to let these grow out and start all over. The only thing that gives me pause is the upkeep but at this size, it's not nearly as necessary to keep the parts neat and tight.

I started my locs the same way and i have close to 850 locs and it takes me about three days to re-tighten them.......I choose to to micro two strand twist my hair because i did not want to spend the almost $1,150 it was going to cost to do my hair so, Friday, Sept 14, 2018 I started my hair and finished Sunday, September 16, 2018. So, I will celebrate my ONE year being loc"d on Monday, September 16, 2019.....i celebrate the day i finished not started..............Anyway your hair looks beautiful and enjoy the journey I am

Damian started my locs! I love him. He maintained them for the first 6 months then I started doing them myself.. I only go to him now on my lociversary... I live in Tampa so flying to him every month was a process lol

wanted sisterlocs in the beginning too but theres only a few consultants in my country and the one in my city i didnt vibe with. so my friend started my locs (interloc). within 4 years, they developed beautifully. they might not look „cute“ but they are beautiful to me. 320 something locs. one of the best decisions of my life. i shower myself with love everyday through them. bless

Your hair is beautiful my cousin had sister locs cut them out a few years ago and she went right back to them. I'm scared of trying any locks style but I'm also kinda obsessed with them, I think they are beautiful.

Omg I really wanted as many locs as you. I love the way it looks I went the sisterlocs route I wish I would’ve let my mom do my hair. But yikes 700 locs how long does it take for you to retighten
It all depends. Some days it takes 10hrs, and sometimes it takes a couple of days.

You are beautiful! Your hair is absolutely beautiful!!! I’d say if you have 644 locs, you have the non-trademarked version of sisterlocks. Reason I say that is: sisterlocks avg is 400 and you interlock your new growth at the roots. So you’re in the ballpark 😉 Keep up the good work and enjoy the journey.

I started microlocs about 11 months ago and i am not re-tightening them...i am only separating them by hand every few days...Now so many are falling out because i m not retwisting them...they are thinning alot...I am going to cut my hair short and maybe make them bigger next time so its easier to retwist myself.

I lowkey almost had microlocs after I did mini twists. When I took the twists out out after a couple weeks, they looked like cute curls so I just left them be. But when it was time to wash my hair, I had to sit there for hours finger detangling curl by curl because they had each started locking up.

I’m so scared because although, I have high dense hair, my strands are quite thin (I hate regular twisting my hair because of this) and I can’t find a proper reference for how’d it look. But yours are gorgeous, regardless.

my cousin and uncle both had locs when i was younger and i always kind of wanted some for myself. your locs look amazing, i’d never head of microlocs before finding your channel!
😪 but so time consuming when you interlock them.. I caaaaant. But you killing it girl! I'll stick with my 64 locs.
Did you know that you can take the flat iron and straightener and stretch them? I wear micro mini braids, and sometimes I will flat iron them. A lot of people they see my hair they're confused and they can't tell if they're in braids or not because they're so small and a lot of people just thinks my hair is just loose.

I have a question: Are you still washing your hair once a week? And is that out of habit, or because of your workout routine?
I ask because I work out 6 days a week, and am worried about how often I’ll have to wash ( don’t wanna dry my hair out vs not wanting a smelly scalp). Can’t find much info on this for microlocs, specifically.

I’ve never heard of micro locs. I had regular locs. I cut them off. Now I have a twa. My hair is thick 4c. The shrinkage is at least 75%. I hate detangling. It’s torture.
I want the big bushy Afro. But it ain’t gonna happen. No matter how long my hair grows it’s tight to my scalp. I’m now looking at your hair wondering if I could get the look with micro locs.

Hair stretching! I'm 4A/B and the only way I get a big fro is by keeping my hair stretched. My hair shrinks 60-65% 😂😂😂 I just learned to embrace my shrinkage and stretch my hair when I feel like having a huge fro. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ Micro locks would look amazing on you, no doubt, if you want to go for it! Do what works for you! 🥰🥰🥰
My hair is the same way, but I cannot commit to a hair style for more than a couple weeks.( I like having fun with hair) I got a texturizer in my hair to make it easier.
I really wanted microlocs but knew I couldn't handle the maintenance. Your locs are beautiful. I have small locs about 160.

I wanna do my micro locs soooo bad but I’m such a procrastinator and I would never do my maintenance on time and my question to you is how did you prevent your ends from tangling
I just seperate them from time to time.
When you do another q and a video please tell us if you interlock and which pattern you use. I did my first rety on my braidlocs and I used the pattern 4 rotation however I don't think I want that super tight cylindrical look (it just looks like rope to me) so now I'm doing a pattern 3 for my next rety. I think my locs will still look like hair and they'll be fuller.
Honey Badza I do interlock and I use the 4 point rotation. I love the cylindrical look✨3 point rotation will definitely make your hair fuller though.

hi, I was wondering if maybe you had any advice for someone contemplating locs/sister locs? were you indecisive about whether or not to loc your hair? your locs are beautiful btw!
Thank you! I ABSOLUTELY knew that I wanted to loc my hair. However, I was not really sure if I wanted traditional locs or microlocs. You should make a pro/con list of reasons to loc or not. Make sure to do your research!🙂
When you're ready you will know💞...my now 8 year old requested locs and I started hers on 2strand and interlock hers and I myself have sister locs and we love em.

The versatility to me is the biggest draw to these types of locs. I make wigs and love a good lacefront even when my locs get long it won't look bulky.

The opposite of thick hair is fine hair not thin. If you microloc fine hair it will thicken up as it grows
I wanted to sister loc my hair...I'm interlocked (mid Sept 2017) but its bigger then I originally wanted but I'm still happy with them...its like I have natural goddess locs...each one has a curl at the end and I dont intent on letting it bud...I kind of still want sister locs but I dont want to start over...it doesnt seem worth it to me

You have sooo inspired me. I started mine on 4/5/20. I went through and twisted it. Now I'm going through interlocking it. I'm loving it so far and I'm not even finished. I original wanted sisterlocs but wasn't willing to pay the price. I did not do a traditional grid. I parted it with my fingers and I'm okay with that. Do you think that's ok??
Their your locs! If you think that's ok for YOUR hair then it is! One thing go remember is that if it works for YOU, then don't worry about another's opinion. Everyone's hair is different, and all that really matters is that your crown is healthy, moisturized and clean! (Also you actually gave me an idea on how to start my locs, why spend hours of parting rows when I could just part my hair randomly from the start? Thank you for your inspiration you didn't even know you gave 💞)
