13.39 Sacred Heart Cathedral Bendigo. It took over a hundred years to complete this Cathedral - the last English Gothic Cathedral in the world. My father, Tom Whelan, RIP, born Dunlaoghaire Ireland 1914 and died in Portarlington, Australia 1993, had the honour of completing the last job on this Cathedral - placing the doors to the front entrance. The Cathral was commeced in the 1880s to give unemployed men of all faiths an opportunity to have employment. It helped the region around Bendigo avoid recession.

I visited the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey. It was absolutely beautiful.
I just got back from there about an hour ago! Though I only live 20 minutes away. I don't go there all that often though

I made a similar comment about the state of our churches here. If a known sect can build many churches why cant we. It's not a waste of money if it is for the glory and honor of our Holy God.

All of these churches are very beautiful (I have had the privilege of visiting some of them) but I prefer the smaller Catholic churches for my Sunday mass. Just personal taste.

We do it in the memory of You our Lord Jesus Christ, everyday in the Holy Mass. Your presence in the Holy Tabernacle. Attending Mass and listening to the Gospel reading everyday is like the Bible study everyday. The Old Testament and the New Testament being related to each other. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament.

Yes, go and place your hand on the foot of St. Peter's statue as millions of pilgrims have done, me included. The foot is wearing down from so many touching it over the centuries. It's a surreal moment. If you're there on a Wednesday you will see the Pope.

I've searched all the carhedrals in all capital ckties of the world and I've found out that some of them are magnificently architechtured dedicated in honor of the BVM. This video is the existing proof of the Holiness and Catholicity (Universallity) of Roman Church.

As I wrote it before, it's missing Morelia, Puebla, Guadalajara, Mexico City and Zacatecas catedral in México. But also are missing Vienna catedral, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela, Catholic Catedral in Moscow, Bogotá catedral and Las Lajas, in Colombia.

Catholic churches are the most beautiful structures on earth.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is already and inherently the greatest due to its nature as the place of our Redemption and Salvation .Also , the Church of the Nativity .
Philippines being the third largest Catholic Country in the world doesn't have a Church that is as grandeur as the other Churches in other countries. I know God is not choosy the type of church it will serve Him but the Philippines being the only Asian Catholic country and one of the largest, should build one as a symbol Roman Catholicism foothold in the country.
Who foot the bills in this project Philippine Catholic Authorities or a dole out from Vatican? Anyone?
