It's a show for kids who take the protagonists as role models. Especially nowadays where we fight hard for equality this kind of influence is a setback.

My Dear Lady tells a story of a young mother forced to struggle to earn her own living in a terrible job market after being abandoned by her cheating husband and losing custody of their son. Yes the title and clip speaks volumes and draws you in too see what happens. However it is very clear no one in the comments has seen this show. Yeah we get what he did was wrong and no sane soul should fall for the guy that abuses them blah blah blah🙄we all get that. Him "making" her wear that is the only thing he did to her. THE only thing through the whole drama. He didn't power trip or abuse her at all. @@stargoddess28 for some reason the newer dramas always have the male leads as professionals in medicine and portrayed as rich and far more privileged than the female lead, it's concerning at times since it's a power trope used as a way to blame the female lead if she rejects such a "promising bachelor" saying that she would never be able to find anyone better and always portray the characters as monolithic. The plot (if we can even call it that) for some of these dramas are so predictable that it's quite unbearable at times. Also, the villainess is always portrayed as someone with a hyper feminine personality and the director never goes into depth within such characters and then get thrown away once the leads finally decide to get together.
And they play that stupid perky music after she descends from the stairs in that ridiculous skimpy costume, like it's a positive empowering moment for the FL. I feel bad for the character and the actress. WTF! This scene is a male scriptwriter's wet dream.

Don't judge the drama by this particular segment. My Dear Lady tells a story of a young mother forced to struggle to earn her own living in a terrible job market after being abandoned by her cheating husband and losing custody of their son. In order to regain custody she's forced to desperate measures to obtain and then keep her job. The male lead boss ends up being a good guy in this noona romance.

Yes the title and clip speaks volumes and draws you in too see what happens. However it is very clear no one in the comments has seen this show. Yeah we get what he did was wrong and no sane soul should fall for the guy that abuses them blah blah blah🙄we all get that.
Him "making" her wear that is the only thing he did to her. THE only thing through the whole drama. He didn't power trip or abuse her at all. Come to think of it, he didn't even force her too wear it🤔His assistant said he didn't say anything and that he might feel ashamed. Let him loose face in front of his friends, atleast you keep your dignity as a mother. And to be clear, she damn well had a choice. She hadn't worked in 7 years, she could have walked away but didn't. Her son was just fine with his dad for the time being, there was no rush.
Him asking about her self respect is very much justified. He didn't say she'd get fired. All that running around she did and staying up late, was on her own accord. Yes too keep her job but all she had to do was ask his pervious assistant. And as the boss he had set needs and requirements that needed to be met and for anyone that was willing to fulfill it, kept their job.
This show is at best 6 out of 10 maybe even a 4. I went in thinking I was going to tear him a new one while watching because of the comments. It was a slap in the face and a snooze fest. Meh and boring. This clip was episode 1 and went down hill after that.
How about we talk about her not mentioning she had a kid after they got into a relationship. Or about the kid being in all of 2 episodes out of 16. It was as if she almost forgot she had a kid. Yeah she worried about him finding out but that was the least of her worries it seemed like. Keeping her job seemed to be more important. Again the child was fine at his fathers, just look for another job.
The president was a fluff. He is a kid, 23 and she's 29. She's been married and divorced, she knows right from wrong. Their love is innocent and childish🥱
Needless too say I'll never watch this again and anyone wanting to write off the drama because of this clip and because of the comments are seriously disturbed. Yall have no back story or story going forward and are ready to hunt him down with pitchforks. All I can say character wise and how he was written, he's easily top 1% of ml that treat fl right🤷♀️

This reminds me of another few Chinese dramas I was watching for some odd reason that you love interest always end up in a volatile relationship at first. Eventually it grows into love but this other one I was watching the guy literally threw pork in her face and she beat him up after that lol then he fell in love with her😂.

@@stargoddess28 for some reason the newer dramas always have the male leads as professionals in medicine and portrayed as rich and far more privileged than the female lead, it's concerning at times since it's a power trope used as a way to blame the female lead if she rejects such a "promising bachelor" saying that she would never be able to find anyone better and always portray the characters as monolithic. The plot (if we can even call it that) for some of these dramas are so predictable that it's quite unbearable at times. Also, the villainess is always portrayed as someone with a hyper feminine personality and the director never goes into depth within such characters and then get thrown away once the leads finally decide to get together.
