I find it a little difficult sometimes to follow as well, I donât know technology and going too fast is right. Also some features talked about are not on my 6 or 8Plus.

So my phone personally wasnât hacked, but a fellow redditor in an applehelp reddit was hacked. He stated that every week him and his buddy always gets a call from one another but neither one of them initiated the call. At the time I didnât know about recommending to factory reset, so I recommended that the both of them enable lockdown mode. Yet to be updated on the status of that incident.

Appreciate the video, but most of these are just âwaysâ your phone can be potentially hacked, and not âSignsâ that it has been. Iâd like to see more focus on the signs and then potential solutions. That would probably be as helpful as well as pointing out the ways a phone could be hacked.

Iphones are very secure - apple made sure of that - it's everything else that needs to worry.
@@muscleymancomics nothing is totally secure that is connected to any open network, but yes, Apple is among the best for security. I was only making a point for the purposes of this video. Been working cyber security for almost 20 years and I choose apple anytime.
@@muscleymancomics Correct: typically but Iâve suspected for some time that my iPhone has been âcloned.â I know someone who went on the dark web & was educated on how to do this. About a year later I went on a trip & they knew where I was without me saying anything. This person forgot about telling me they looked into ways to accomplish this. I remember though. Creepy!! Theres other incidents too. I am in the process of researching & seems like resetting to factory settings helps, but Iâm not sure.
@The_Red_Key I went to DNS leak as suggested in the video & it revealed 6 DNS leaks out of Georgia. I checked the isp numbers w/Firefox for iOS thinking maybe thatâs where it generated but the numbers donât match. Not sure how to resolveâŠ.*AND* i have an iPhone (đ)!

But I do have one question: If I restore to original, wonât I lose my pictures, contacts, etc.? Yes, I know my stuff is in my iCloud and can be retrieved. But is everything in my iCloud safe? And what is the âjailâ something you mentioned in this video. I try to keep up with everything you put on CZcams by subscribing with notifications, but I missed that discussion. A tip that I've heard about public charging stations: Use them to charge ONLY your portable charger (because there's no personal data on the charger). After the charger is fully charged, disconnect it from the charging station and connect it to the phone.

When you said to factory reset the phone wipe and restart all over again, do you use the same Apple ID on the phone would that still be ok and for sure knowing that the hacks will go away if you reuse the same Apple ID since you were not sure what part of the phone that has been hacked?? Or should you create a new Account for that phone ?

I do deliveries and yesterday when I dropped off someones order at their front door my phone made a loud unusual beep, like nothing I've ever heard from my phone before. The house was in an expensive area and the customer had an electronic keypad on their front door so they have fancy technology. Could it be possible that they have a scanner at the front door and tapped into my phone? I only had my data and location turned on, nothing else (ie bluetooth, wifi, hotspot etc.).

Do you sell a book with all your good information in it ? I am a iPhone user an almost 80 an I do better following the written words as apposed hearing your information. I love your videos.
Iâve experienced the random text messages and phone calls and when I call back the number its either no longer in service or someone else answers totally different from what showed up on the caller ID. When I wipe my phone like you said at the very end of the video, will I have to do the password set up and Wi-Fi set up all over again?

Even if you chosen Clouflare DNS you still can get result with other dns providers when you run a dnsleak test. It would be the cse if you are using A VPN or a wide ad blocker such as DnsCloack. Please be aware.

After my short stint as a resort housekeeper, the behavior and conversations I witnessed, and my own personal experience with being stolen from, don't ever ever ever leave anything of value in your room period. And don't think that do not disturb sign stops them.

Yesterday I dusted off my gaming Laptop I havenât used in yrs to log onto my CZcams account. I couldnât get logged on. I went on my iPhone and changed the password then I could log on with my laptop.
I wanted to use my laptop to get on my CZcams account to unblock a couple people. Now I learned I can unblock them from my iPhone through settings history etc. I turned on 2 authentication.

I am tired of getting all the spam text messages saying that "now that I paid my AT&T bill - claim your prize." This $hit only started when I switched from Verizon to AT&T. But I get a lot of those text messages and a lot of spooling calls.
I am on AT&T and noticed a lot of strange calls, and txt lately. I blocked and then deleted them everday, but they are still coming.

Iâm on Verizon and I get them all the time, from all different business names. Home Depot, Target and others. I think they are scams to get you to click on the links. Donât do it...just delete them.

But, my iPhone does one annoying thing frequently I will be scrolling and it rolls backwards quickly; Iâve already seen that info so I have to scroll forward again to try to find my spot where I was before it went backwards. I hear a sound too as it rolls backwards. This waste my time, holds me up. Sometimes, it will skip page I am on and I lose it cause I do not recall title or author. If Iâm on you tube, it jumps over to one of my search engines.. so distracting and time consumer.

Notes & Mail open in the last note or email I looked at. This is really annoying, especially after I closed the email or note & closed the app out. I have checked online. How do I know that my neighbors are spying on my devices and how to fix it without my going paranoid?
Buy some covert spy cameras to install in your house, as well as gsm audio bugs, which you can install a sim card, and have a set of commands, to say ring the audio bug when your away and you can listen in, also use top quality anti virus software for all devices.
I actually think that my phone was hacked because when checking my outlook login history there was another login from my own phone while I was sleeping and then proceeded to hack my social media accounts

The craziest thing just happened to my phone and I need some advice. A random cursor popped up on my phone screen and tried to take control. As I was fighting to get control, it noticed I was trying to turn off my phone and tried block me from turning it off! Fortunately, I was able to turn it off. When I turned it back on I deleted all of my important apps but shortly after the cursor came back and tried to take control again so I turned it off.
Is that a new hack? Will it only be able to access my phone if its on? If I factory reset my phone, will the problem still occur?đź

Iâve been dealing w/this for several years & even replaced my cell phone & at one point changed cell providers w/new sim card & it still persistsâŠmaybe even worse. The DNS test shows 6 isp addresses out of Georgia. I think itâs just plain wrong our internet & cell providers as well as Apple/phone manufacturers offer little to no help.

Hey guys. I just bought a refurbished apple I phone 8 plus. It doesnât have a VPN service installed. Would you guys know what a good VPN service would be for apple phones. This phone is the only internet I have right now and I visit a lot of unsecured WiFi connections. Things like Starbucks and Burger King etc etc. I worry about some of these vpn services slowly down my internet because of always running in the back ground and telling me what sites I can or cannot view like some viruses protections do.
