They are adding in more too. I think they meant to throw fans off by saying phantom Liberty was their last DLC for the game. But they are going to keep updating it for a while
I honestly think theyll add in things like new weapons, combat options etc but at some point flying vehicles.

It's crazy to see that Cyberpunk has finally launched, after all this time I can't believe it's out of beta and actually released.
Only took four years, but we finally got the full $400 million cyberpunk RPG experience we've been waiting for.

@@Ewanderer42yeah I agree, plus in there recent development reports they are starting to pull the majority developers and coders away from 2077 to work on the next Witcher game and get started in the next cyberpunk game so in all likelihood we might get two maybe three more updates to the game before it’s done so we still have time for NG+ to get added
Meanwhile we have been playing with trains for 2 years now, thanks to incredible modders, even before PL
Honestly, I'm hoping this update is a sign that they're going to keep updating the game, to add in the missing, cut, and unfinished stuff that we've been waiting for since launch. Start re-implementing unfinished locations like the NCPD Rooftop, or the market floor of V's apartment. Maybe add the wall running/hanging back in from the original gameplay reveal. Re-add the Afterlife rooftop access. Hell, maybe even vehicle customization if there's a bunch of code and assets left around for that.
Then, maybe start adding in the big requested features later, like NG+ and whatnot.
I like how they added more feedback for the PS5 controller on PC. I can feel when my car shifts gears and everything. Pretty neat.
I think people don't give enough credit to how much the haptics and dualsense 2 contribute to a gaming experience. I played Returnal on controller for this exact reason.

HAVE AN UPDATE IDEA...
I wish there was a way to turn off main story progression. I got to the part where V starts having random health attacks, fainting spells etc, cause she's dying and it's annoying when trying to do side missions and just explore. It would be a nice feature to add via future update. Other than that, the game is finally what it should have been 3yrs ago.

Watch_Dogs had a rideable metro system where you can actually walk around on the trains and motorbikes where you could do tricks and wheelies on and that game released back in 2014

You can change the camera view when taking control of a car. That way it's like you;re actually driving the car. Lots of creative ways to kill baddies with cars lol.

They added wheelies back, it was there on release day and stuff so idk why they even removed it
Agreed the games pretty good now. I've still chosen to play with a few mods just to make the gameplay more varied, one that fixes the finishers because at the time of writing this the melee finishers don't work properly, stealthrunner as I like stealth characters and it adds stealth options to gigs and missions (i.e do them without anyone spotting you, doing them without knocking out or killing anyone etc etc.) also adds a stealthrunner perk tree which is awesome, Enemies of night city to make the enemies harder and more varied and also because I liked breach protocol and this mod does bring it back in a limited capacity, PED damage overhaul for more customized damage output and Radioext so I can listen to my own tunes while driving around. There was a feature on an older mod where enemies would phone for backup mid fight.. I feel like that would be more fun and interesting than having them arrive after the mission but guess you can't have it all.

I'm really hoping that this is just the start for Cyberpunk. I know everyone thought the big 2.0/Phantom Liberty update would be the last major update, but then this came along and added something that's been missing since launch. I'd love to think that MAYBE this means, now that the major expansion's released, there's a team set aside specifically to take the time to "finish" Cyberpunk, adding in a bunch of cut and unfinished content. Maybe we'll see what the NCPD rooftop was actually meant for, or finally get to go to that big resort area outside the map, or maybe at least they'll re-open the Afterlife rooftop.
All they have to do is wait for modders to add stuff and then apply it to the game in an official way. (I don't mean this in a snide way either)
@@lockekappa500 Didn't CDPR hire modders a while back to help with the development? They also provided a mod manager for the game. They're giving CP2077 the Bethesda treatment of letting the community cook.
