No swiping medal is NOT for killing a mimic with a throwing knife... Its for killing a mimic before it grabs someone which is completely irrelevant. No swiping medal does not mean u killed it as ur supposed to
I mean not too tough. I usually have items waiting to grind this stuff in my backpack. Like a bunch of gold plates, mag of holdings, and tier 3 crystals
The way it gets figured out so fast is ALOT of people in the zombies community were trying to open the rift. Which means that all these people are looking and when someone finds something they share it with the zombies community and streamers. It's a community effort not just a single person finding the steps.
If you fail with the Sgt Beret, it doesn't matter, you can still complete it if you get a finishing move on a Merc. I went down and crawled behind one to get the prompt, I also discovered at that moment that the Merc revives you like the dog, didn't know that was a thing
Man, with BO6 right around the corner, I don’t even feel like going for these schematics lol. I only really care about the +10 stash schematic, but even then it’s not like I need it that badly, I can manage with 20 slots just fine. This seems like way too much effort for fairly mediocre rewards in a mode I most likely won’t ever play again after a few more months.
This Whole Easter egg quest / story mission feels exactly like been there done that already... nothing really new here . Too Similar Too The Last updates . A real tragedy.
Couple of tips for new DE: Bunny are in the following locations. E5 Billboard for Escort, D2 Crane for Spores, G2 Roof for PND. Also, having 2-3 players equip inhibitors from Tier 3 helps you get right on the spores instead of trying to get caught up with the zombies and waiting to get them out of the box. Once someone activates the contract, you can equip 2 and start hitting spores. Each player can scorch to a spore, drop 2, shoot spore and get out before it turns into chaos.
You don't have to kill only Mimics only there. You just need to use the Aether Blade as the final kill-shot, after shooting them, absolutely anywhere in the map. Much quicker than solely using the Aether Blade.
I swear to god Ive must have killed 20 mimics, aether blade only, and no rift with diary opened. I did the triangle thingy, ran around the map in different tiers, did some contracts and it just didnt work. Now I gotta wait 48 hours to try doing this...such bs.
Any update? I’ve tried and failed over half dozen times now. Diary is all I need still. I think there is a specific detail that everyone’s missing to get it to work. Have not seen one person be able to prove out the exact method. This sucks!!!
I just realized to get the giraffe you dont have to be the sergeant if you mess up its fine just go to a different merc and execute him, as long as your friendly merc is alive you will still get it when you execute a merc 👍👍

I just got the 3 other items and just need to upgrade them now!! I figured out few things tho that some might not know!? 1st thing is that when getting purple diary with aether blade u dont need to go to the triangle that spawns the mimics u can do it at anyone of the 3 new triangles in tier 2 zone!!? The mimic 1 under train tracks in water, the mangler 1 in tunnel, and last 1 is on west side of tier 2 by seaport district and i think it spawns disciples? Idk its only 1 of the new triangles i havent done yet!? 2nd thing i found out was that u dont need to kill the specials spawned by triangles with just aether blade damage to get easter egg item!! u just need to have the killing blow be from the aether blade!!? So u dont need to sit there and keep waiting for blade to return u just shoot specials till theyre low on health then finish them with Aether blade and after u kill 4-5 that way u get item!!
Okay so everything worked fine the first time we did all the steps (before the game crashed) now no matter what any of us do we can't get the papers to spawn no mater how many Mimics we kill using just the Aether blade. Killed upwards of 20 and nothing. Anyone else having this issue
There's a pedestal in the new rift marked with an X , when you stand on it you can hear bunny laughing, EE sounds. Also there's rd4 detectors all around the map as well. So for being the "bad boys" of zombies, you guys still got some more searching to do

It is hard to get all three of those contracts done before time runs out when doing elder sigil. The map is so large and they put those eggs all over the map. I feel like you can not do it without a scorcher. Worst part for me is how bad the RNG for schematics is. I didn't get a single schematic in my first run. Just a bunch of tools, crystals, and cases. I do hope SHG considers extending the time limit for the new DA.
The golden girraffe is so annoying the last boss just tanks dmg and keeps spawning mega bombs that take no dmg while having their eyes closed heal while u deal with the mega and pop another right after you killed it...
5:26 No, you should kill not 5 mimics, but some purple mimics until the sphere hanging nearby in the air is filled. Only after that you will receive a reward - purple diary.
@@mash2481 Seems too hard for me. But maybe I do benefit anyway. Last game a guy with a tombstone gave me a bunch of the newer schematics. He must have been running errands to take a try at this.
@@newnum2 naw, if I can do it, you can do it. If anything, go in over prepared. Instead of pap 2, use a pap 3 crystal. Use legendary tool also. Take a mercenary in and pop it when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Maybe have three or four extra selfies and an Aether blade. Better to be over prepared than under. I got faith in ya.

I’ve missed a lot when I left in season 2 so I wanted to get back into playing when I saw this but then I saw your other videos showing guides to get into 3 other dark aether portals and I just gave up lol.
Disciple despawned when I left to get plates and came back :( it showed up again later that game and I had to kill like 4 megas it kept spawning and when I killed it. No reward rift ;( mwz keeps giving me pain
This is by far the most tedious portal to open ... simply put, do your missions and try to unlock your schematics... otherwise, you'll have to earn everything in game ... the more you play it, the more it'll make sense... but honestly, just have fun lol

Thanks for the video, i managed to do it all solo, until i was about to unlock the portal. The game crashed after i used the Giraffe item on the pedestal, so now i have to do it all over again. They never gonna fix these random crashes on this game. it seems like.
I did the bloodburner one like 8 times, arrows would never pop up and rift wouldn't spawn. Did the mimic one twice, took foreveeeeerrrr. Probably killed 20 mimics, rift finally spawned and all I got was a rare tool amd raw crystal. Did the sergeants beret and no rift spawned. Love this game but honestly so tired of constantly getting screwed by it.
@@TheMeowmix69 probably just an edit, just like all the other easter eggs you have to have the original gold item from story in rucksack but am happy to be proven wrong but i would do it again and have mr peeks in there, we did it all as a duo and getting purple items is straight forward but turning to gold is bloody hard as a duo
I appreciate all the work you put into creating this video. I was watching the stream for most of the day and at times it seemed hopeless. Hopefully, you get all the schematics next time. I'd recommend that whoever has the vr11, bring that into the rift with a scorcher in their bag. Do the escort first and then drop the vr11 and equip the scorcher. That way that person doesn't have to drop their bullet weapon. Just an idea.

1st attempt at the diary took 3 mimics, then i did the phd flop onto the tower and miaaed each time, ao eventually lost the diary, 2nd attemot at getting diary took 8 mimics
Update, finally got the gold diary, when doing the phd flop of the tower, you need to steer yourself on the way down towards the blue container, it will take a few trys but eventually you can direct yourself near to it and it pops the reward
@@chrismcgrory1691 when im dolphin diving with phd flopper, i cant steer at all, how is this done, do you jump first, or run then hit the crouch button and somehow steer?

QUESTION: I have all 4 items gold. Giraffe. Drum. Bunny. Diary. When I go to place them on their respective stands, it just cross them on the floor. The most I've gotten on there correctly was the drum and bunny. T Yes I'm offering them to the correct stand. They just drop them and sometimes they drop into the stand and I lose that item. Can you tell me a fix? I press X to place it. Then A to put it in the blank square above the rucksack items then B. Two place and two drop.
Just saying if you completed the story mission with a operator, and you change the operator, you have to do the mission again in order to get the other items for the pedastol
Well you gotta redo the dark aether using the elder. If someone brings in an elder and you use that instead of the normal one, you can get schematics on your first run. 15 minutes is going to be a tight run for elder on such a big map!
The disciple will keep spawning mega abominations until you kill it. Did this solo with a 2 sentries. Would have been a lot easier if I had dead wire on my primary instead of brain rot
The fact that the schematics required take 48 hours to be craft again is crazy 💀 I killed the bosses on t3 to upgrade the giraffe and it bugged and it didn’t give me the giraffe back or the upgraded one and now have to wait like 48 hours to try again
Yeah pretty shitty I put on the sergeants beret and it didn’t disguise me just gave me the bot plus the drum upgrade bugged and it doesn’t just let you do the bike step again also the mimic step doesn’t work unless your the first to do it only 1 can do it per game
The giraffe one is extremely buggy and frustrating. There’s no indication that you have failed a particular step for that upgrade. They should’ve made it so if you fail, you automatically get the purple item put back in your inventory to repeat the step instead of repeating the whole process over again.

They’ve always revived you they are just really slow at doing it

I wanted the stash space badly until I found out they nerfed the triangles. No more farming legendary tools and flawless crystals.

I've had the merc execution working once and fail twice. It doesn't seem to work 100% of the time which sucks b/c cool downs are so long.
Even if you fail to execute with the disguise on you still can perform the execution and get the rift in the same game
Execution works but no rift appears. Since my cover was blown we ran around the map doing it to other mercs. Nothing was working.

So i killed 7 or 8 Mimics with just the ather blade and it never spawned the item. Only item i dont have yet

Another method for the diary is by allowing two mimics to spawn at infected strongholds, do three times.

1st attempt at the diary took 3 mimics, then i did the phd flop onto the tower and miaaed each time, ao eventually lost the diary, 2nd attemot at getting diary took 8 mimics
Update, finally got the gold diary, when doing the phd flop of the tower, you need to steer yourself on the way down towards the blue container, it will take a few trys but eventually you can direct yourself near to it and it pops the reward

@@mainsource8030 you jump before you leave the platform and jump in advance of when you think you have to do it, meaning you dont need wait untill the very edge to do it
QUESTION: I have all 4 items gold. Giraffe. Drum. Bunny. Diary. When I go to place them on their respective stands, it just cross them on the floor. The most I've gotten on there correctly was the drum and bunny. T
Yes I'm offering them to the correct stand. They just drop them and sometimes they drop into the stand and I lose that item. Can you tell me a fix? I press X to place it. Then A to put it in the blank square above the rucksack items then B. Two place and two drop.

Well you gotta redo the dark aether using the elder. If someone brings in an elder and you use that instead of the normal one, you can get schematics on your first run. 15 minutes is going to be a tight run for elder on such a big map!

The disciple will keep spawning mega abominations until you kill it. Did this solo with a 2 sentries. Would have been a lot easier if I had dead wire on my primary instead of brain rot
The fact that the schematics required take 48 hours to be craft again is crazy 💀 I killed the bosses on t3 to upgrade the giraffe and it bugged and it didn’t give me the giraffe back or the upgraded one and now have to wait like 48 hours to try again
Yeah pretty shitty I put on the sergeants beret and it didn’t disguise me just gave me the bot plus the drum upgrade bugged and it doesn’t just let you do the bike step again also the mimic step doesn’t work unless your the first to do it only 1 can do it per game
The giraffe one is extremely buggy and frustrating. There’s no indication that you have failed a particular step for that upgrade. They should’ve made it so if you fail, you automatically get the purple item put back in your inventory to repeat the step instead of repeating the whole process over again.
Do you have to do the Easter eggs or is the story mission rewards enough? I meen the story mission of Akt 4....

Killed a Mega Abomination with my aether blade and got the diary
I killed a random disciple and got the diary. Maybe I threw an aether blade and killed him.. I don’t think so tho
