@@PeaceDora he fought in the American Independence war. He was one of the chief engineers. He was also very anti-slavery. Kazimierz Pułaski on the other hand is the father of American cavalry, from what I remember and also fought in the American Independence war.

General Washington believed that West Point was the most important defensive position on the entire North American continent.
