- Perfect morning for a hike to Secret Beach with an adventurous golden doodle. We had a negative low tide so our timing was perfect to a hike down to this great beach. Exploring this amazing part of the southern Oregon is one of our favorites. It's located between Brookings and Gold Beach in Samuel H Boardman State Park.

Wow looking at my analytics and saw I got 300 views from this video! Awesome vid. This is a great look at a more specific part of Sam Boardman. I went here but didn't even see that cave! I think the tide was way in so I couldn't get to it at the time.

Hey there! I heard the short hike has a step rock to go down but you have your pup. Did she have any trouble? We want to go and would love to bring our lab but want to make sure she can make the steep trail. Looks beautiful!
How did you find the trailhead?
Just behind a road corner guard north of Arch rock. On the ocean side of course. Hope this helps
It's between Miller creek and Miner creek north of Brookings a few miles.
