    I live in the u.k and many years when cb radio was legalised here in 1981 there was an odd-ball cb radio called a "ladyline quasar" which was the same as your radio only it operated on the British cb band using fm mode, and the vhf receiver was on the 156 mhz Marine band. I had a couple of them over the years, nice radio's but a bit of a rarity.

      yes I have heard of the quasar and also another called the sea hawk 40... Yet I cant find any info other than that lol

    I can actually say I never heard of that model and I've worked on radios . I looked it up and it said d12 for mic clip but that don't sound right . Looks the shape of a 25 but under uniden that would be a pc-66 without the weather of course .

      right it seems the board is labled the same as a 66 or 25 but they are not laid out exactly the same,

      yeah it seems to be its own beast, it has a C2029/1 final and i cant even find a data sheet on it!

      That 2029 final in a cobra 25 or 29 rocks in swing . Put a swing kit in it if you know how and use the rf gain for turning power to desired swing . @@TEN-TIMES-HARDER
