This song is pretty much exactly as tricky as it is without Pro drums. Though my touchy green cymbal got in the way a couple times. It's still pretty much the song you knew before.

Heh. I like how if you don't get the ending bonus, you can hear a cricket chirping. A nice touch, even if unnecessary.
This cover is actually one of the better covers of tom sawyer that I heard, sure the drum part to this song is a lot easier but I'm not going to go out and diss them for that, and for a rock band 1 song, when drums for video game consoles were first released, they had to make this song easier, but at the same time harder, because you don't need much endurance for this song, but you need rhythm to get the idea of how this song goes if your hearing it for the first time.

@zman962005 Not the lack of double bass, just that part in general was undercharted overall. Look at the chart of the original song, which was released as DLC. That chart was way better.
@SoundDefenseRB I agree with you. Besides as fast as the notes are coming you can tell expert....at least i can I use to play this on RB2 and RB1 the note chart is crazy...

@longview3000 well... it's not like they have trouble borrowing ideas from them....
but it would just be borrowing an icon, not a game mechanic.
@Dialamo I thought it was because maybe Rush didn't trust RB with their master track yet, if there would have been any reason to be skeptical. RB had just started and there was no guarantee of its popularity. Then RB became far more popular and...yeah. Just a theory. I dunno.
@TheRimDoctor Agree. Alot. I didn't like their Action cover, and I almost cried when i heard the Ten speed cover. I hope to god they put up the original of ten speed.

@redhockeycab Well they have to come up with a different icon for that and that will be like extremely difficult to figure out which is which, unless if you want the icon to be the Hammer-on icon from the guitar

@Dialamo Probably not a rights issue. I imagine there was some difficulty with the original master tracks, that they eventually developed the technology to overcome.
@zman962005 Fair enough. I think they should've just converted the old one to the new one, because the new, real one is much better charted.

I always wondered why they put a cover of this song in RB1 and not the original. I mean, they did eventually release the original version on DLC...what was the problem?
@longview3000 it wouldn't be that difficult. for all the closed high hat hits, have a regular yellow circle, like they currently have; for all open high hat hits, have the GH hammer on yellow circle.
