Look up the memorial to President Kennedy, it was a gift bequeathed to the US,and is officially part of the US, it is located in Runnymede,which is historically important.

Yes this was a very terrible time when the assassination came and it was a very pleasant to wonderful thing the queen did to have the dedication that running and at my age remembering this when I was young I'm thankful for the British on broadcasting system and the path a news that bring these newsreels to us now on the internet thank you so very much take care
Such a loss the 1960s were an amazing time yet a tragic one as well.

Ireland grieved terribly over JFKs death too
As an American, even though he was assassinated before my time, I give my sincerest gratitude for what England did to honor JFK.
Stuff like this is why the bond between The United States and the United Kingdom shall stand forever.
