It actually works really well.. Its nice to have a good grip on your phone getting more steady shots.. but also i love it as a wireless charger and even desk stand. Its really cool if you know you will be taking your phone on vacation, or if you are (or know) an aspiring mobile phone filmmaker this would be a great start.

Can you plug in a lightening cable to the phone for mics?
I was Subscribed but I guess after a while you clear out the Dust…I just bought the ProGrip and hope to get out tomorrow to try it out. So far just handling it at home , it feels very comfortable on my hand and will definitely keep my iPhone 14 Pro charged for the day. I have also ordered a couple of ShiftCam lenses, that I should get in July, fingers crossed as I am going on Holiday, mid July. Good to see your smiling, happy face back on You Tube.
that is a cool, interesting bit of kit, cos yeah there's gimbles for phones BUT they can be quite big for what they are, this progrip has a nice footprint - looks like it will fit nice in bags with out being too big like some of those phone gimbles.

We will be travelling to New York and plan to use our phones. I can’t decide between the snapgrip or the progrip. I am probably leaning towards the snapgrip because it will be smaller in my bag and I can use the tripod as a selfie stick but would love to know your thoughts please ?
Thanks for the great comment that is a hard question they both have great qualities. I guess you need to ask yourself what is going to suit you better if the snapgrip is going to be more versatile for you then I would go with that one. Hope that has helped. Thx Danny

That's waaaay too expensive for what it is - a power bank with a handle.
You only need to look at all the 3-axis gimbals that have similar features but way more tech, for less dollars.

Too expensive for basic function. Even their new Snap grip is overpriced. You can get a basic phone grip with cold shoe and 1/4 thread and Bluetooth remote for $20 without the bells and whistles. Shiftcam get a grip on reality.
