*There's A LOT going on for me mentally rn and at the time of recording this so I wasn't really "all there" when I was recording. Because of that, I missed a couple things, and ended up just cutting out eidolons to make sure I don't give you guys the wrong idea. Full guide will be better. Sorry I let you down.*
-E1 is goated for SP management and lets you play action forward
-E2 is a combo for E1 so sp is not a problem and u get a fk ton more damage with action forward
-e4 is 98% eff res in ult after traces
-4:42 its 0.8% break not 1% i misspoke 🫡
-the reason I used aventurine instead of Gallagher in the showcase is because I recorded it 6 times prior and every time one character would get hard targeted and fucking die 💀 so I just went aven to survive it for the showcase, even tho Gallagher is way stronger for that teams damage

one thing to know is silverwolf still changes the weakness AND resistances i believe. sam just makes it so she can break any unit at 100% efficiency
Well not only that but if they already have fire weakness from fire fly then silver wolf can apply quantum and break the enemies even faster

FF being fast af can break them fast while also Reducing Toughness of non fire mobs. SW has no value besides reducing res and Ruan Mei already gives 25% Res Pen.
Not to mention Aoe Fire implant makes SW practically useless in a FF Team.
Her implanting Quantum to Break Faster is just Sheer Cope. You are trying to force her in a team with FF just because.

Firefly applying Fire weakness is specifically for depleting toughness, they still retain their 20% resistance. Silverwolf, on the other hand, applies true Weakness which applies the -20% resistance.
Boothill physical weakness application also works like Firefly.

I'm still thinking that Hanya is going to work well with Firefly. Firefly loves the speed and attack buffs from Hanya, extra skillpoints will come in handy. And Hanya is naturally fast, which helps keep up with Firefly. I'm determined to test it once I get my hands on Firefly.
Hanya and Asta are good alternatives for non Ruan Mei havers, I do think tho that against non physical weak enemies, Asta will come out on top because FF can implant fire weakness so Asta will contribute to breaking

I’ve been running a break playstyle since the start (even before I knew to build BE stats lol) since my first E6 dps was Sushang, so I pulled Ruan Mei during 1.6 for lols.
It’s so perfect that Firefly/Sam (my top fav characters in a while) would end up being a top breaker. I even got to give Sushang one last Superbreak send-off in the last MOC 12 for my Firefly pulls 🫡

@Condensed_rock If you "want" to pull for Firefly, then she comes first. Why would you pull for a support before your DPS of choice and risk missing said dps. I know it's cool to say "supports are better than DPSs", but at the end of the day the DPS are the soul of a team, because you build a team around them, not the other way around. Unless you play purely for meta instead of getting the characters you enjoy of course.

Yes and no. Firefly has absurdly high energy cost on her ult, and that is the reason her E regenerates 60% of max energy, and not a flat value (like 30 energy on other characters). The point is, she still gets her ult in two Es, with or without any extra energy from tingyun/huohuo. Also, tingyun's damage buff from ult doesn't work on breaks and superbreaks, ant that's the main source of Firefly's damage

@@kimgabrielrosario8753 oh and also, tingyun and robin can't buff firefly's break effect. Their atk bonus doesn't work with her trace, since it's a "ratio-from-another-source" type buff, and those do not go into calculations (like hunt blessing from SU that gives atk based on previous character's atk)

I regret trying to get e6 xueyi on Robin's banner when they ended up putting her on Firefly banner when thats who I saved over 100 pulls for. Oh well wish me lukc and now im only saving for Firefly and her reruns.

I was lucky I was convinced skipping Harmony characters would be the stupidest thing possible and still rolled for her when I was saving for BS and Acheron while everyone was losing their shit over Sparkle.

Is anyone else concerned about power creep? 😅 I know its inevitable to an extent. I just thought Acheron should/would have been an exception in the DPS lineup, but it seems that damage level is the new standard. Its just worrying because we are still trending 2 characters per patch, so there seems to be no slow down in sight. Even the reruns are getting stuffy.
Yea, I could understand an Emanator of Nihilisti since Emanators have god like powers, I mean the ravager can easy destroy planets, and sw said that if herta wanted, she could age backwards, so I can understand an Emanator being this crazy, but still

Loucha with multiplication + wind set can severely offset the sp issues for the asta team...he basically takes many actions as a seele and cause he's him, the healing will still be overkill.

Mishas’s light cone (indelible promise) works pretty well over the other 4 star options. Just that aeon is like the second best option just behind her own light cone since you can get it s5 eventually.

Lets be honest, farming 2 new sets may be a daunting task... If not for the fact that it's Firefly.
Cause okok, it's still 6 whole new pieces, but she just needs Break Effect, Atk, and Speed (to a point). BE you can just try and get as much as you want, and Atk too, its pretty interchangeable with how her scaling works, but speed rolls is actually not as demanding on her.
She starts with 104 base speed, gets +5 from traces, and 60 from Ult lv10, which you should get to since you actually dont need to level up any other traces more importantly than Ult, so thats already 169 speed. To get 4 turns in her ult state, you need 211 speed to lap her ult counter 4 times., so you only need 42 speed more. Which with speed boots you already cut that by more than half, and if you are using the new sets, you get 6% which is 6 speed, and Ruan Mei also gives 10% which is 10 speed, so that totals upto 41 speed. So you basically need only 1 more speed roll on any the 6 relic pieces she has. And yes, its 100% better to get more speed, but if you're aiming for 5 turns in her ult in one wave, then yeh, its not possible through just relics, you need Asta and alot of well timed Dance3 ults.
