Try running your completed quilted square through a pretty embossing folder. You will get a beautiful quilted/stitched look!
I like the gray HUGS because it complements the background instead of distracting from it. Great choice!
Natasha you’ve done it again. I always think I have seen your best card ever but then you just keep them coming.
The "hugs" card is my favorite. I like the subtle patterns mixed with the vellum and the bold sentiment. I have that paper pad of holographic paper, too, and it works on a variety of cards for a little extra punch. I appreciate watching you put things together and always pick up an idea or two to make assembly easier. I follow a couple of card makers who are also quilters and they come up with some fun patterns using grid paper. A lot of their cards are perfect for scraps. Thanks!
Wow, such versatility out if one die set! I love all those cards, but especially the ‘thank you’ and the holographic touch was amazing for the ‘hugs’ one. Very clever use of the die with the happy birthday one too, kind of a DIY jigsaw puzzle. Well done Natasha 😊❤
The 'hugs' card is gorgeous! ❤️
After you add the separate pieces, if you run the cut-out through with the die a second time the sew lines will show-up again.
Just a tip. I used the wax pencil to pick up the pieces of the die. My quilting die is small and the pieces are tiny! Thank you for the inspiration to use a die I bought 6 years ago and never used! I think I've made 5 so far. 😀❤️
I love quilting dies! My favorite card today is the last one! Thank you!!!
Yes the holographic card stock was outstanding 👍🌏
Quilt squares can be used for anything! The buttons are a cute touch. On the second card, I like the gray better than the sparkly for the word. When you had the 3 stop dies taped together, it looked like a rocket ship or something. There's an idea for a kid birthday card!
Great ideas, beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing!
These cards are so pretty…so creative!!!
These dies are something I will think about.
That last one is my favorite! ❤
All three cards are beautiful - I don't have any quilting dies, but I really like the look 🌻🌻
Wow!!! You have an amazing eye. These cards are all stunning. They also look all differently!!! Thank you Natasha.
I really like when you put it together!
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love all of the cards
Since I have no die machine I would have to do a lot of square cutting and then cutting corner to corner, but I could achieve this. I could add quilting stitches with a pen and make quilted cards very similar. I love this idea. The cards are beautiful. Crafters... If you don't have the dies, have no fear, there is always a way around this as Natasha has demonstrated before, to achieve the same look. Thanks Natasha for all the tips and tricks. Love your work.
Beautiful cards!! I am inspired!!😍
Love all your cards
Beautiful cards!
Beautiful cards ❤
Gorgeous cards Natasha 💜🩵💙
You always inspire me. Will get out my quilting dies!
Bonjour. J'aime beaucoup l'holographique et la bleu❤
Beautiful and fun. Tfs ❤😊
Gorgeous! I'm packing now for a flight to yours to play with your stash 😂
Hi Natasha 🥰🙏🦘 I love all your examples today. Um 🤔, but I think HUGS is🥇 because of the contrasts. Raised & flat pieces, holographic & pastel pink, some stitching, vellum backed grey! Very pleasant combination of elements. Thanks so much! 💐🥰
Fabulous!
I would never have thought to use holographic cs with a traditional quilting die 😮 (my mother and I have done a lot of playing with her SU set and never once thought of it) Thanks for the fresh ideas!
Very nice cards!
I see so many possibilities with quilting dies. Rocket ships, cats, oh, maybe even a quilt ! 😂Thank you ♥️
I have similar dies. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!
I think I'll go crafting/quilting.
Natasha, I like to make stained glass windows with my open cut quilting dies, use velum and alcohol markers, do it from the back side after you have cut out the frame, put velum on the back, then color in the spaces. Not as beautiful as yours, but fun to do. Love this tutorial. Tysm
Very pretty Natasha x
I have an OLD quilting die that just might get a little love soon!
these are lovely! although i have to admit i don’t own a single quilting die. i actually don’t care for that look at all. but once again u blew it out of the park!!
All of the cards are lovely. I really liked the gray on the 2nd card. Thank you for sharing this lovely idea. 😊
I am waiting for the holographic paper pad…already ordered it… I still do a lot of quilting and have been using patterns, rulers. And rotary cutters for cutting papers…you can cut strips and then subcut..to make patterns…fun to be creative and get out of the recliner as I get a bit older..thank you..always enjoy your videos and the sharing on Fb
Hi- can these dies be used to cut material for quilting?? My sister has a gammy arm so finding it difficult to cut pieces?
I have this die and I used it to make a bunch of Halloween cards. I love what you did with these cards. Will have to give it a try.
Merci!
Clever!
I have a quilt die its a little different but this gives good ideas and a great way to use up scraps too and I have holographic and metal papers that need to use so tyfs 🦋💜
I love all these paper piercing dies. I tried a couple things, so they wouldn't all fall apart and they'd be easier to put together. So you're not gonna guess in a million years. What the best thing is? I don't even know if you have it in the U K, it's called press n seal.❤
Love the idea. Grey was the right choice, I think. All 3 cards were great. Enjoy your holiday time with your beautiful family. Holographic card is my favourite. Thank you for sharing once again. 😊
These cards are lovely. I have been looking at different quilt patterns for card fronts recently, this die would make it so much easier. Thanks for sharing!
I like this idea - Have suggestion if you want buttons but dont want the bulk find die that cut out buttons. I found my button dies on Amazon a while ago and love them - easy way to use up small pieces of scrap paper
These are very special for many friends who quilt!
These are just amazing, Natasha! I don't own any quilt dies (yet!), but these are amazing ideas❤❤❤
I just ordered a quilt die so your timing couldn’t be better. They are all stunning 🤩
Beautiful cards Natasha. So please you went with the grey HUGS. I’m sitting here saying “grey, use the grey, it pops better.” Hubby says who are you talking to? lol 😜
Natasha, what lovely cards!!
paper fire..your work too
After you glue the pattern paper pieces to the base could you run them all through the base die again to put the stitch marks in again?
I was wondering the same thing. 😊
Fabulous cards. ❤😊
Happy new year🎉 . Gorjuss cards as usual! Greetings from Hastings!❤
Looks great !😊
Very pretty!
Happy New Years from California 🎉😊
Have you seen spellbinders have these wonderful little colorblock mini shapes where you get 2 dies for about $7 aud and they come in lots of shapes for repeating patterns? Really fun.
Natasha, Maymaymadeit has 3 stamp sets that can be stamped on top of cards to make them look like they've been quilted. Her meandering stamp would look really good on these cards. Alos, could you have put the stitched die back on top of the 1st card & got the stitched detail? Great video. 😊
Fab-u-lo-Sus 🤗
I’d forgotten to use buttons 🤦🏼♀️
Missing those cute little faces and hands
