I bought the same box and unfortunately in this series there are not as many cards so you will get a lot of commons/multiples. However, there are many hollows and if you can get your hands on the second series you will get even greater digimon combos. You dont really find and agumon in here but you can get them with the starter box thats going on ebay for about 30$. There are definately other rookie digimon in here though!
The hollows are worth a lot these days. This same box itself is going for over 575 on ebay right now. Digimon stuff has skyrocketed
Of all the card games ive played over the years for some reason these are the only ones i cant for the life of me remember where they went. So mad to because they were some of my favorites, even kept a mega Kabuterimon in my wallet (we all did dumb things in middle school)
I always carried my 1st edition holo mewtwo card to school when nobody had any pokemon cards yet and I wanted to brag about having such a cool mewtwo card . it looks quite destroyed but I still love it the most. that card is the best memory for me as Ive had the first pokemon cards pack at my school back then haha. Also back then I thought that the Mewtwo card would be the best card you could pull out of these packs because I mean its mewtwo haha

This TCG game was pretty much good for just collecting the cards, but the actual battle game? Yeesh, that was really complex s*it back then. Nothing like more simpler Pokémon TCG rules, that's for sure.

I hope that "very rare" statement was sarcasm. I got a whole sealed box of these sealed boosters off eBay for like $50 a few months ago. You can get them on Etsy for like $13 as well.
Edit: I just realized this video is from 2016 when anything Digimon was considerably harder to find.
How does stuff that was already out of print for over 15 years become easier to find? I've never seen these boxes under $250, at least not in the past 10 years.

Contrary to popular belief this was common. I opened a bunch of these. The rare ones are always first by the way.

anyway, are 1st edition holos worth anything at all? I think I just bought like 2 or 3 packages back then because all my money was wasted on pokemon and sailor moon ,but at least got 2 digimon 1st edition holo/gold-letter cards in my collection-folder

They were not really worth anything in the last years ... but since last year these cards become more expensive. Such a box is over 2k$ at the moment.

No that's not. There are 54 in the set and 8 cards in each pack. You need to open 7 of them.
