Yung Port Pilar naexperience ko nung bata ako magsindi ng kandila dyan siguro parang respect ng lola ko kay Mama Mary pero gusto ko lang pong linawin hindi po lahat ng muslim pumupunta doon at nagsisimba yung mga mali lang ang paniniwala o naligaw including na ang lola. Muslims believe in 1 God which is Allah swt. And we praise him alone. Wala po kaming ganong paniniwala na nasaksihan namin ang imahe ni mama Mary during tidal wave but we highly respect her bcoz she is Mariam in our Quran. Thank u.

And to add up, your tour guide was never wrong about the badjao tribe.if youll search it in youtube,tberes a badjao that could hold his breath for 20mins with no equipments or apparatus used during spear fishing..they are indeed the best divers not just in the philippines but recognized around the world

Altogether, it is a language comprised of the formerly 5 or 6 and currently 2 or 3 to 4 or 5 individual and different dialects or varieties communicated but mostly spoken throughout the Philippines by a significant minority but most especially in specific or more specific or particular parts, places, areas, or locations, like regions, provinces, cities, and/or municipalities.
It is not a dialect, because it is not a dialect or variety of any language nor of any other languages, although you can refer to the specific or more specific Chavacano (or Chabacano) of, in, and from Zamboanga City as a dialect or a variety of Chavacano (or Chabacano), but it is safer to treat all of these dialects or varieties as a whole, a group, a collection, or a set, and as a language made up or comprising of its own dialects or varieties, instead of just being a dialect or a variety of a language or of one or a single language, most especially if you'll just refer to it as Chavacano (or Chabacano) and not or instead of using the specific or more specific names of its formerly 5 or 6 and currently 2 or 3 to 4 or 5 dialects or varieties.
In Zamboanga City, it is primarily spoken by the Zamboangueño ethnicity or ethnolinguistic group, nation, or community, and it is here in Zamboanga City where this ethnicity or ethnolinguistic group, nation, or community and their specific or more specific Chavacano (or Chabacano) dialect or variety is originally from, and not from the Province of Basilan nor from the latter's main island nor other smaller islands.
The ethnicity or ethnolinguistic group, nation, or community, and its specific or more specific dialect of variety of Chavacano (or Chabacano) originated around when the Real Fuerte/Fuerza de la Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Zaragoza (Royal Fort of Our Lady of the Pillar of Zaragoza), or now most commonly known, called, or being referred to as the [La] Fortaleza del Pilar ([The] Fort of the Pillar), [La] Fortaleza dela/de la Nuestra Señora la Virgen del Pilar, ([The] Fort of Our Lady the Virgin of the Pillar), [La] Fortaleza dela/de la Nuestra Señora del Pilar ([The] Fort of Our Lady of the Pillar), [La] Fortaleza dela/de la Virgen del Pilar ([The] Fort of the Virgin of the Pillar), [La] Fortaleza ([The] Fort), Fort Pilar, or the Fort Pilar Shrine (Roman Catholic Marian Shrine) and/or the National Museum/Museo Nacional (Regional Branch of the National Museum of the Philippines), was established, founded, constructed, erected, and built in the 1630s, most especially when the cornerstone of the fort, originally called [Real] Fuerte/Fuerza de San José ([Royal] Fort of Saint Joseph), was laid in June 23, 1635.
Currently, the city observes and celebrates the Dia de Fundacion de Chavacano (Day of the Foundation of Chavacano/Chavacano's Foundation Day) every June 23, since the Ordinance 734 or the "Dia de Fundacion de Chabacano Ordinance" was passed and became official all throughout the City of Zamboanga and was enacted on June 22, 2011, with its first observance and celebration on June 23, 2012. We just observed and celebrated the Aca-12 Dia de Fundacion de Chavacano [Acadoce Dia de Fundacion de Chavacano] (12th Chavacano's Foundation Day) this 23rd of June.
It is also spoken and communicated by other ethnicities or ethnolinguistic groups, nations, or communities here in Zamboanga City as their second or non-first language, like the Tausug, Cebuano/Bisaya, Hiligaynon/Ilonggo, and Tagalog peoples, among others, most especially by long and permanent settlers or residents of the city who are even non-Zamboangueños by ethnicity or by their ethnolinguistic group, nation, or comminity.
The specific Chavacano (or Chabacano) dialect or variety of, in, and from Zamboanga City is called, named, or referred to as Zamboangueño, Zamboangueño-Chavacano, Chavacano-Zamboangueño, Chavacano de Zamboanga, Zamboangueño Chavacano, or Chavacano Zamboangueño, or simply as Chavacano but specifically with the letter "v" instead of the letter "b" of its former name and more general name for all of the formerly 5 or 6 and currently 2 or 3 to 4 or 5 dialects or varieties.
Chavacano (or Chavacano) came from the Spanish word "chabacano", which accordingly means "vulgar" or "poor taste", and originally and initially refers to the language or the dialects or varieties back then, contributing to the unfortunately but understandably and still ongoing idea and impression of this language or these dialects or varieties as "broken Spanish", "street Spanish", "kitchen Spanish", "low-class", "vulgar", or "poor taste", and the likes, even unfortunately among some older and younger Zamboangueños and other Chavacano (or Chabacano) speakers and ethnic or ethnolinguistic Zamboangueños, and other Philippine Spanish or Philippine Spanish-based creole ethnicities or ethnolinguistic groups, nations, or communities, and even in the 21st Century, which are also seen, viewed, perceived, or received as mistreating Chavacano (or Chabacano) as a lesser, lower, or inferior language or dialects/varieties to the Spanish language, and treating the Spanish language as "superior", "pure" or even "purer", and "perfect" or "more perfect" than or compared to Chavacano (or Chabacano).
The specific or more specific dialect or variety of Chavacano (or Chabacano) of and from Zamboanga City and communicated but mostly spoken in Zamboanga City spread out to the other parts, places, or areas of the Philippines and beyond after the 1630s and onwards to the present, but more especially here in Western Mindanao or southwestern Philippines area or region of the Zamboanga Peninsula (a geographic area or region of the Philippines) or the Zamboanga Peninsula Region / Region 9 / Region IX (an administrative region of the Philippines) and the Sulu Archipelago (an archipelago, island group, or group of islands and a geographic area or region of the Philippines) or the western half of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (an autonomous region of the Philippines), and most especially around the City of Zamboanga, by a few to a significant minority population of the people of, in, or from the other municipalities of the Province of Basilan, the neighboring City of Lamitan and the City of Isabela in the Province of Basilan, and the City of Pagadian, City of Dapitan, City of Dipolog, and some municipalities of the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Sulu, and Tawi-tawi.

It is also spoken to some extent in some northeastern and eastern coastal parts, places, or areas, mostly by ethnic or ethnolinguistic Zamboangueños, of the state of Sabah in Malaysia. A few to some speakers of this specific of more specific dialect or variety can also be mostly found in the other cities, most especially in or within and around metropolitan areas or metropolis, here in the Philippines.
The permanent settlers and residents of the City of Zamboanga are Zamboangueños by or in demonym, which is the name of a group of people or of permanent settlers and residents born, living, and residing in a specific or more specific area, place, or location, but don't confuse it with the people who are Zamboangueños as an ethnicity or ethnolinguistic group, nation, or community, which can be found inside and also outside Zamboanga City and are united mostly by kinship, middle names and/or surnames, ancestry, lineage, and/or bloodline, culture, traditions, customs, beliefs, folklore, values, history, predominantly the Roman Catholic Christian religion, cuisine, music and songs, and Chavacano (or Chabacano), among others, all tracing back here in Zamboanga City up to the 1630s in the past and in history.
Generally, the people or permanent settlers and residents of the neighboring provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte, and Zamboanga del Sur are also sometimes called or referred to as Zamboangueños by or in demonym, being the names of their provinces also carry the name Zamboanga, being also found or located on the geographic area or region of Zamboanga Peninsula, and being that their provinces, together with the City of Zamboanga, were once part of one or a single region, area, district, department, and province during the Spanish colonial period or era and occupation and also during the American imperialism and occupation of the Philippines, all before it got divided and its towns or municipalities, cities, and barangays got divided, separated, merged, integrated, incorporated, or grew or became municipalities and/or cities or into a separate component city and/or then into an independent and highly urbanized city, or a town or municipality, or a province.
The Chavacano (or Chabacano) of, in, and from Zamboanga City is also linguistically influenced by the other native and indigenous or autochthonous languages of, in, and from the Philippines throughout the centuries, such as the Bahasa Sug or the Tausug language and the Tagalog language but mostly through or via the former Pilipino language and the current Filipino language, among a few others, but most especially by the Hiligaynon or Ilonggo and the Cebuano/Bisaya/Binisaya/Sebwano/Sinebwano/Sugbuanon/Sinugbuanon/Sinugbuanong Binisaya languages.
In terms of foreign language influences, excluding the Spanish language, other European and American (North, Central, and South American), and also African, Oceanian or Australian and Pacific Island, and other Asian languages also influenced it, mostly through or via the Tagalog language but mostly through or via the former Pilipino language and the current Filipino language, also the English language, and the Arabic language, and also through or via the Spanish language itself.
Altogether, these external linguistic influences make up or comprise about and around 10 to 30 % of the lexicons and vocabulary/vocabulary words, phrases, greetings, and expressions of the Chavacano (or Chabacano) of, in, and from Zamboanga City, while the rest of about and around 70 to 90 % is all from or of the Spanish language, most especially from or of Castilian, Andalusian, Mexican, and Peruvian Spanish dialects or varieties.
With the formerly 5 or 6 dialects or varieties of Chavacano (or Chabacano), formerly 2 or 3 and currently 2 or 1 dialect or variety is spoken and from the island of Luzon in the northern Philippines and are mostly influenced by the Tagalog language and also alongside and later by the former Pilipino language and the current Filipino language, and these are also more influenced by the Portuguese language, while formerly 3 and currently still 3 or just 2 or even 1 dialect or variety left is spoken and from the island of Mindanao or the southern Philippines and are mostly influenced by the Visayan/Bisayan/Bisaya languages of the Hiligaynon or Ilonggo and/or the Cebuano/Bisaya/Binisaya/Sebwano/Sinebwano/Sugbuanon/Sinugbuanon/Sinugbuanong Binisaya languages, where one of the latter subgroup is the specific or more specific Chavacano (or Chabacano) of, in, and from the City of Zamboanga called, named, or being referred to as Zamboangueño, Zamboangueño-Chavacano, Chavacano-Zamboangueño, Chavacano de Zamboanga, Zamboangueño Chavacano, or Chavacano Zamboangueño, or simply as Chavacano but specifically with the letter "v" instead of the letter "b".
The other dialects or varieties of Chavacano (or Chabacano) in the Philippines are as follows:
The now or currently long extinct and once communicated but mostly spoken dialect or variety of Ermitaño, Ermitense, Chabacano Ermiteño, Ermiteño Chabacano, Chabacano Ermitense, Ermitense Chabacano, or Chabacano de Ermita of, in, and from the current district of Ermita in or within the City of Manila in the National Capital Region (of the Philippines) or the Metropolitan Manila area or Metro Manila.
The now or currently endangered, dying, or also even extinct and communicated or once communicated but mostly spoken or once mostly spoken Davaoeño, Castellano Abakay, Davaoeño Chabacano/Chavacano, Chabacano/Chavacano Davaoeño, or Chabacano/Chavacano de Davao of, in, and from the City of Davao in the Davao Region or the Southern Mindanao or, more specifically the southeastern Mindanao area, and which is further subdivided into two subdialects or subvarieties/subvariants of the Castellano Abakay Chino (which is also influenced by the Chinese varieties spoken in the City of Davao) and the Castellano Abakay Japon/Japón (which is, on the other hand, also influenced by the Japanese language spoken in the City of Davao).
The now or currently endangered, dying, or also even extinct and communicated or once communicated but mostly spoken or once mostly spoken Cotabateño, Cotabateño Chabacano/Chavacano, Chabacano/Chavacano Cotabateño, or Chabacano/Chavacano de Cotabato of, in, and from the City of Cotabato, now or currently located and positioned within the Province of Maguindanao del Norte, and both are currently parts or components of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or more specifically in the eastern half of the autonomous region in the Central Mindanao area.
The now or currently endangered but still communicated but mostly spoken Caviteño, Chabacano Caviteño, Caviteño Chabacano, or Chabacano de Cavite in the Province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON Region or the Southern Tagalog Region / Region 4 - A / Region IV - A, and which can be further subdivided into the Caviteño, Chabacano Caviteño, Caviteño Chabacano, or Chabacano de Cavite itself, which is also known as Chabacano de/di Nisos, of, in, and from the City of Cavite, and the Ternateño, Chabacano Ternateño, Ternateño Chabacano, or Chabacano de Ternate, which is also known as Chabacano de/di Bahra or simply as Bahra of, in, and from the Municipality of Ternate. Sometimes, these two subdialects or subvarieties/subvariants are treated as individual and separate dialects or varieties of Chavacano (or Chabacano) themselves, instead of being subdialects or subvarieties/subvariants of one or a single dialect or variety of Chavacano (or Chabacano).

And tagalog will destroy chavacano, the same what have happened in cavite. Only in their dream that chavacano still exist in cavite..their mayors, governor and their congressman don't know how to speak chavacano. We praise Zamboanga City still have guts to maintain and preserve their chavacano. But soon this will die..look at them they speak tagalog. So sad.
They speak Tagalog because they are our Muslim brothers & sisters hnd lahat ng Muslim nag chavacano, mostly Christians ang chavacano speakers dito sa Zamboanga city
