I met him .. he is so humble .. He is an ardent believer of Murugan (God of Tamils) and Shiva and has a small shrine in his cart. His food was the best food I've ever had hands down, period. Make sure you go there early, because he sometimes shuts down by 1 PM because of the huge line. If you go there right when he opens (10:45 AM) - you will avoid the line and get any dish you want. I highly recommend the Pondicherry Special and also the Jaffna Lunch Special which is a type of Uttappam, but with herbs and Navadhanyam instead of the regular uttappam batter. He slowly starts running out of food by around 12:30 PM and the menu becomes smaller and smaller until he runs out of everything. The line usually closes at 1:00 PM and he is usually closing his cart by 2:00 - 2:30 PM. Amazing food.
