  • Lar Joye is Port Heritage Director at Dublin Port. Previously he curated the award-winning Soldiers & Chiefs: the Irish soldier at home and abroad exhibition at the National Museum of Ireland. In his talk, he uses objects on display in the exhibition to explore the experiences of Irish soldiers who joined the British army in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.
