- Sabbath is not what you think.
God gives us the Sabbath as a commandment, but why? Because if he didn’t we wouldn’t rest. Sabbath is meant to be a gift. God’s intent for us, is that we would work from rest and not for rest.
In this sermon from Dr. Jordan Vale we look through the Bible to see what Sabbath is meant to be. Jesus intent was that sabbath was made for us, not us for the sabbath. As a spiritual disciple, sabbath plays a vital role in our spiritual formation, in becoming like Jesus.
