My father was a classical violinist and a prisoner of war in the NETHERLANDS..his music was so beautiful..I use to cry listening to him at night when I was 5 yrs old..he never knew how he touched my little heart and how he still does, although he is gone I feel like he is with me and the song of war you both played brought me back to when I was 5..my parents were divorcing and I never got to listen to his most beautiful music again..ilu for how you help heal my heart...

Hard to believe those folks are surrounded there listening to this concert free. Two great musicians who could demand a pretty penny to listen to them play. This is the real thing here. I wish they would come to Ohio to play at the Blossom Music Center. I suppose Karolina is still too young to spread her wings so broadly but her day will come. Emotional.
It is very sad what happened at that time and my sympathy lies with all the victims of this inhuman madness, depicted in a masterpiece of cinematography. But also the performance of Dir Karolina and Ray Chen is undoubtedly masterful. I really like your performance. Let's also remember at the same time all the fallen victims of the war in Ukraine. I didn’t know I had Jewish ancestry until I was a teen and neither of my parents were in the Holocaust but I’m sure I lost lots of ancestors there. Aren’t we ONE PEOPLE after all.. I came to Israel to visit a friend as a teen and was amazed how it felt like home, how many people had my curly hair and personality, sense of humor, it was all there, even my crazy chutzpah. That is so incredibly beautiful. And it truly is the saddest song. I started crying the moment Ray started to play. It hits you like a punch in the gut, which is what the Holocaust was to the Jewish people and to all of humanity. I've seen the movie, I've been to the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam.
