Dude omg thank you so much, I own a lancer tactical m4 sd gen 2 and ive been searching for so long on how to take out and instal the outer barrel with the same type of ring you used. Now i will finally be able to get ready of the suppressor and add a tracer unit!
I've found that since I've removed my front sight, the part at the front of the rail keeping it in place continuously jumps around, making the rail fall apart. any ideas to stop this from happening? Note: I am going to replace my rail very soon with a higher spec one, it came with the gun I ordered the WE CQBR M4
Maybe I missed it if you said but what is the length of your m4 berral. I'm not sure if I want the 10 or 12 inch for my rifle so using yours as a reference would really help.
+KingP_ Tv If it's a M4, on the bottom of the pistol there is two screws that hold a plate on. Remove those then remove the plate and the small spacer under the plate (only on some gun) and then unplug the two wire connections. Motor will drop out, the do the reverse with the new motor.
@@eddy_actual dump the lancer and buy g&g combat machine. Dont waste time trying to upgrade it because it will just break and piss you off. Save up the money and buy a combat machine. Keep the lancer for parts.
some gun you can just punch two pins out and it comes off, others like the G&G combat machine are molded in to the barrel. I use a grinder or hacksaw and cut them off and file it down.

Biohazard Films Yes but that’s not hard. Plenty of info on google. I use 16ga silicon wire which is the best imo as it won’t break from bending as fast.
Snow Catz i think i will put something between the barrel and the handguard to make it more stable. It completely defeats the purpose of a free float handguard but its just for looks anyways.

I'd prefer the look of a "straight" barrel, without those dual bulges along the barrel. If I had real M4s/M16s, I'd probably know what those bulges were I guess? Seems like my G&G Combat Machine is a little different than all the outer barrel videos I've found thus far
Most AEG outer barrels will fit other M4 type AEGs the only difference is of course the "look" of the barrel, and maybe the fitment of the front sight. (if you use one).
The bulge is where the front sight gas block goes on a real M4/Armalite-15 you can get low profile gas blocks to go under the hand guard or if you want to get rid of the front sight post.
Butched 'em if you dont like a lot of money and still wanna upgrade your gun so to snitactical.com their stuff is really good for amazing prices although they ahip from china so its like a 4 week wait
It depends. I don't know much about GBBRs but i believe low profiles blocks are used when there isnt much space between the outer barrel and the inside of the rail.

Never take your outer barrel off without taking the inner and hop up out first. Will damage the inner and possibly bend it slightly

What i did was instead of taking off the front siggt block I just cut the sight itself off with a saws-all

yeah you could do that, but a metal body or even a good polymer body will last you ALOT longer
