After the final battle against Dr. Zomboss (PvZ 1), it was decided to have a party for the victory of the plants and the saving of the neighborhood. Peace reigned for a few days until a week later, where a strange fog begins to succumb to the neighborhood, in addition to an alarming and strange news that reaches our hands. It turns out that, in a discovery inside some Egyptian ruins, some strange ruins were found mentioning zombies. Something is not right here, so we must go in search of Dr. Zomboss to Zombopolis to get explanations about all these strange events...

I remember playing this and honestly, this game is SO much better than PvZ3. It still has that classic PvZ gameplay feel to it and the 3D graphics looks really good. Really sad that you can't play the original anymore.
I remember playing pvz adventures on my mum's Facebook back in the day, kinda sad that it got cancelled.
Can relate lol. PVZA, Miscrits, and Cloudstone were the best back then
Same here I loved this game so sad when I logged in one day to find it missing. I had grinded a lot and finally unlocked that zombie wearing lots of hats on it's head. Such a good zombie to summon for brainball. (I think that was the name of the game mode?) Got so many gems just in time for the game to shutdown 😔

18:07 The Biggest casual games (mostly the greatest and well known by youngest and oldest audiences alike) came from Facebook Games and Mobile Devices, when they were still on the Golden Era of wWwebpages full of Flash games around mid 2010s as the rise of mobile games like Angry Birds and others came in to join the Casual party that marked many of us since kids (like me :P) so it _kinda_ makes sense that they decided to do that.
8:42 The world tour will be added in the next update, it's a place were you can play others peaple level and you will have another game were you will create levels (like mario maker).
In the next update there will have a lot of new features (levels, decorations, plants, zombies, minigames, the app for create levels...).

It's not even in a state where you can do anything other than test the functionality of the plants it's quite bare bones since it isn't asset ripped and made manually

this is very early on in development and i really hope it ends up growing into a full game. i played pvz adventures back in the day and really miss it. it's only being worked on by a small team of fans with no profit incentive, so what they're doing is really cool and hopefully pvz adventures can be enjoyed again in a new form

@@seriusly34they have been making twitch transmissions while working on it, they have teased some stuff that’s coming, so yeah! They are actually working on it regularly and always post updates at their discord channel!

Dude. DUDE. I loved PvZ adventures, it was my favorite game in the franchise, so imagine my sadness when one day, I log on to my mother's face book, and after looking for it for about 1 hour, realized that I had just lost access to my favorite PvZ game. And then unknowingly started a curse for my self, where games or youtubers I liked, suddenly would disappear, and i would not know why.

I miiiiisss this soooooo much, pvz adventures was like my favorite fb game after backyard monsters i used to be soo happy to go home after class so i can play this until they just cancelled it after a few months which sucked

When I was a 9 year old I loved a facebook game called Wild Ones. There are several duplicates, but I can never enjoy another game in its category anymore because it reminds me of what I once loved

Btw Road Trip is a fan made version! Eventually the story mode will come out but not yet
Road trip is made from the ground up and has been canceled and revived which is why the project is so slow
I used to remember playing this game but only problem is like every Facebook games always ask a friends to unlock the next level good grief this is basically like how free2play was originated.

You see how you get only 5 pieces per plant? Yeah, that's because in PvZ Adventures, you had to actually plant, grow, and collect your plants BEFORE you start doing the waves. And the amount of plants you had on storage are the only plants you can bring to the waves. Not only that, but sometimes, zombies will attack your home (the place you grow your plants) AT RANDOM. So, you also have to consider using some of your stored plants to defend your home. It was so good

I found this channel around a year ago in the form of the battle cats series and recently I got reintroduced in the form of my singing monsters and then realised that it had PVZ a game I have been playing since I was 2!!!
Tip: you see the aura of the plants that attack? That's their range. And also why can't you place the plants a bit farther from the path

You can only place the plants in the path as the original did the same thing, talking about gameplay wise.
I remember when I was 5 I would play this game day and night in my mom's Facebook account XD but when it got cancelled I felt that a part of my life was gone forever it was my favourite game in my opinion this game is better than pvz 1 and 2 (pvz 3 is cool a little)and I'm very very happy that the game is coming back and I can finally play it again and complete it thx for the pvz road trip team and the Dev for my making my childhood come back I am so freakin happy

This game in concept was so good as a mobile game. Instead EA decided to make PvZ 2 mobile exclusive. (BRING THIS GAME BACK, EA!)

I know I'm a true veteran when I played the Facebook version and the online version
I so fell in love with this game, going out a battling and gaining new defenses for your town. When they cancelled it I thought for sure it would be available online or on a game console. Every PvZ after just sucked by comparison they were all wastes popcap were total idiots to get rid of this and and make all the garbage that were sequels. The developers remaking this are heroes! We love you guys for bringing this back in fact if you make a Patreon account we'll financially support your work of restoring and improving it! Don't do it alone let us help you!
Yoy playing this reminded me of all the old fb games and i think it would be amzing if you dug dip and made long series on some of those games its really your fanbase's childhood. Games like: farmville 1, happy aquarium,dungeon blitz, crazy planet, pet sociaty, cafe world for a start would really be a blast from the past
damm back in the day playin on my big brother's facebook ahhh good ol time and the aspergus was top tier plant that everyone used cuz of its insane range and slightly better damage i want sweat pea with the stackable damage, the freezing pepper and the sunflower queen back cuz theese were all f2p VIP plants who yes instead of a min it took 15 to grow but they were so good and i think the planter will act like in adventures/aka the original just giving range to your plants wich was neat .

I played the original PvZA. Zombies prioritize eating defensive plants around adjacent tiles. I guess that build doesn't have a priority list coded to the zombies yet/
