My dad always told me~the dead can't hurt you only the living can do that. I work in care so have seen many people pass and feel it a blessing to be able to help them
This is true and it happened to me a few years ago on Halloween night I was walking with my brother along the pavement opposite the graveyard that leads down beaco road when we turned to look at the cemetery and saw this two figures standing by this gravestone now the creepy thing was that this two figures where pure white after a minute of staring they must of noticed becuase I remember flinching as a bright light swayed past me like somebody was moving around a rather bright lantern
Brilliant video, so well put together with all the effects, really professional job! Becky was great too, thanks so much Tim, those rows look really creepy!
Glad you enjoyed it Lois please feel fee to give it a share :-)
I have lived in the Yarmouth area all my life and I haven't heard of these stories. Becci is awesome, I miss seeing her at the Gorleston Moot. She is a very lovely person.
Thanks for Denise
I was born and brought up in Great Yarmouth (now live in London). I lived down Queen's Road opposite what used to be a Navel Hospital (now very posh apartments). I was about 10 and had a couple of friends who's parents worked there. We used to play in the grounds there. One day we found a passage that lead to an underground concrete bunker. It was dark (we had a torch), there were rubber tubes and concrete tables. Then on the floor we saw a human skull, we all screamed and ran out of the bunker !
It turned out that this was used during the WWII as an operating theatre.
The skull was probably from a medical skeleton (not a real one), that gave me (and probably my friends) nightmares for weeks. This is a true story ! oooOOOOOoooo.
Would love to return to GY and join some Heritage walks some time in the future. Have learned a lot on this and previous videos on GY. Happy Halloween ! đđđđđđ
Omg wow thanks I know the navel hospital is haunted
Very interesting ghost walk and Becky was a wealth of knowledge , also nice to see you in the video makes it more personal ! Also well done with the music and atmospheric introduction.
Thanks mark

I really enjoyed your spooky special Tim, Thanks too to Becky, who was a wealth of information.. Fridays were boring till you came along with your Friday video..Keep up the good work mate
Thanks paul, very kind to say
For a teen with a passion of history I didnât think Yarmouth was that special when it comes to history, I didnât expect there to be remains of a priory there and ghostly poltergeist activity, one that caught my eye was the tolhouse cell. Loved this video... thereâs no one that is doing walks like this around my area and it means a lot keep it up!!
You're welcome glad you enjoyed and hit subscribe
This really is a superb video and Becky is a "natural" in front of the camera. Thank you very much for a professional and well prepared presentation.
As a footnote Tim, my wife and I are regular visitors to Great Yarmouth and Scratby, and your videos have been an absolute delight to watch during the Lockdown. They have kept us "sane". I have always given the thumbs up but this is the first comment.
Best wishes to you and yours Tim.
Our pleasure! that's very kind to say!
Loving the great yarmouth ghost walk very interesting to learn the history
Thanks for watching Karen
I lived in the White horse Pub on Northgate Street for 2 years.from 2015-2017. I was in the old stable block end (with the black iron gates). My bedroom was the original stable boys living quarters. I can confirm that there was ghostly activity on an almost daily basis , however , it was always friendly and the house had a lovely warm and welcoming feeling. My son lived in the attic room which is accessable by a hall way and its own stair way to the top. He had issues with the landing leading to my room, in perticular the landing just outside my door and on the stairs leading to the kitchen (which is a new part of the house) . The kitchen is amazing, it still has the original wall of the stable (which leads onto the small living room) the wall depicts the different ages of the building, starting with the original cobbles and then later additions from the Victorian age , with new parts being added using brick. My two years where very happy there. :-)
wow thanks for sharing kathleen
Now this is my kind of vid. Cheers, Tim! âșâș
Glad you like it
@@WalkWithMeTim I myself used to be a paranormal investigator back in the mid-nineties,. Kudos to Becci and yourself for showing us all the ghostly places, by the way âș I have witnessed light orbs, ghosts talking, a disembodied hand waving at me. Mist. Shoes flying across a room. Two of my best investigations were at East Stoke church, nr Newark, Notts. The ground surrounding the church is much higher due to the fact that several hundred bodies were buried beneath after the battle of Stoke...
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Stoke_Field
Huge amount of paranormal activity there.
The other site being the dilapidated Annesley Hall, in Notts. One of the investigators that were with me on that particular investigation witnessed a full-bodied apparition and was never the same again afterwards. He never speaks of it now but the ghost could have bern Lady Charworth Musters who, at one time, was involved with Lord Byron of nearby Newstead Abbey.

Not for the fainthearted, Tim âș
A while ago now , probably around 30years I visited the gaol. All was fine until I entered one of the cells, I felt as if the was a very ominous feeling in there that didnât want me there. Almost as if someone was very angry. I didnât hang around and left quite quickly.
loads of people say that I've been in there .. very weird
Another great video Tim, I commented on your Great Yarmouth historical tour on how good it was, I am from Yorkshire but have been holidaying to Yarmouth for the past 47 years and I love Great Yarmouth's history and thought I had seen it all and I am still amazed how your videos show me places a didn't even know existed good job, keep up the interesting work.
Wow faith thats a very kind thing to say thanks for watching
The former Talbot pub is haunted by Mary Blackbourne who was hung as a witch in 1647! She used to be seen/felt near the former backdoor by the gents toilets and upstairs in the lounge area and bedrooms upstairs. Also the cellar is haunted by a young boy called Thomas who loved playing with the barrels of beer. I'm not sure who I put my arm through one night when I was working behind the bar but it certainly freaked me out!!đł

A few years ago myself & partner went to gy for the weekend, went in the empire when it was still a pub no word of a lie we both seen a black figure hiding behind a pillar,we both looked at each other and asked if each other had seen what we had ,we both replied âyesâ and with that we drank up and went. I find Great Yarmouth a fascinating place, all the nooks & crannies ,
defo donna !thanks for the comment
Wow, thankyou for an entertaining half hour. Sad story about the sainsbury's car park, you live and learn. I was surprised the Britannia pier does not have a few ghost stories to it, that place must hold a few memories and stories.
I'm sure it does Wayne but haven't heard of any thanks for watching

We used to investigate a number of incredible locations in Great Yarmouth and can vouch that many do have some truly interesting "visitors". We have recorded some fascinating evidence in a number of these locations. Really interesting history, well done one and all.
Thanks for watching... its a spooky place

You're welcome
awesome vlog mate
Thanks gary
really nice tour with your commentary.
Just subbed to see more of your videos.
New sub and friend from India
Thanks for the sub!
Always like a great Ghost tour. I have been to Great Yarmouth back in Feb 2019. Only if I knew about the Sainsburys Car park 14:30 I be banging on the car park saying hello. There is a few places called "Row" around Cardiff just like Yarmouth 2:00. I heard of calling a name 3 times 12:00 before into a mirror where trapped souls are, not just in films. Sounds like the Ghost in the TV programme "Ghosts" 16:00. Look at all the leaning buildings down Sewell's Row 18;30. Thank You to yourself Tim and Becci for the Tour, hope to see more.
thanks, David I loved filming this
Great Yarmouth my home town I have always been interested in the history of great Yarmouth awesome video
Thanks James
@@WalkWithMeTim that's ok really enjoyed the video
@@jamesshaw2009 đ
you have just put a ad out miss that they could be a plague pit in Sainsburys car park some one going start digging to proof its there lol great vlog Tim and Becky
Superb video Tim đ Love everything about Great Yarmouth & the paranormal so a great combo. Totally shocked about the Sainsburys car park đČ Stood on that very spot and never knew at all. I've also stayed in the Royal and have to say I didn't like it wasn't a great weekends sleep as I recall nothing wrong with the hotel/service the room definitely felt it had a depressing and just uncomfortable atmosphere.
PS: I meant to say Becky was brilliant very interesting đ
Yes has a strange feeling inside that hotel agree with you .. thanks for watching gary
đ
I just thought it was York that was creepy! Great video.
lol thanks christine
Great Video, I've done a few paranormal investigations in the town before. We done one at caesars nightclub & the old burnt out hotel that was there which i think has now been refurbished, Also done the Britannia Pier Theatre & under the stage, Definitely haunted there, Got access to Back To Backs this month coming, So hopefully we get some activity there.
OMG just watched this not great with spooky stuff but enjoyed her story telling, very interesting, hope you slept well Tim, đđ x
Thank you
Brilliant
thanks Ian
Very well put together video Tim. I'm looking for locations for my team to investigate when we visit mainland UK next spring so hopefully GY might be a good place
thanks
Excellent video, have lived in GY my whole life and love the history of the area but neverrrr knew about the plague pit under Sainsburyâs car park
I know scary thought... thanks for watching james

Im Portuguese and i lived there at Northgate street white head horse and ive had the most terrible experiences in that house!! Good job!!!!
have you really??? do tell us more?
@@WalkWithMeTim i swear to God! Only for 5 months in 2013/2014. Yes sure!!! I also have videos of the house inside, the house was beautiful, and i immediately fell in love with but the bad experiences started right after we moved.
@@saramaia1674 tell us more!
@@WalkWithMeTim
I was living there with my daughters and my daughter's dad, our room was on the 2nd floor and Leah's room on the 3rd floor. Leah was only months old so she was spending the night in our room. Everytime hubby went to work, at 6am, right after he shut the house door i could hear something upstairs on the 3rd floor walking slow and then running, like for 3 or 4 seconds. And then the sound disappeared.
Also everytime i went alone to my room i could hear my WC wood crackling, same sound everytime.
One night i was home alone with my baby and was walking by the stairs to go to bed. When i turn myself do the stairs direction something big and black went through me down the stairs. I only have time to go under the table on my kitchen and videocall hubby for help. He never experienced anything in the house and used to call me crazy!! Ahaha
Sorry for some English grammar mistake, im not used to speak or write anymore!
We went and visited the Tolhouse last year but when I looked back at the photos later on, the cell that you were talking about, had a very clear picture of a face on the wall!
Omg
@@WalkWithMeTim I just realised it was back in 2018 but I posted it on the âGreat Yarmouth Remembersâ facebook group at the time. If you type in the search bar âtolhouse faceâ it should come up. Itâs really clear!

Great stuff, Tim - Becci is a great guide! I donât believe much of the stories as Iâm not much for paranormal stuff - mostly itâs psychological I think⊠you never get a ghost in a new build đ
The rows are great arenât they? Weâd call them twittens in Sussex :)
I was born in Great Yarmouth grew up south of Lowestoft and i really miss the area.
Thanks for watching
Really enjoyed that video, I knew about the body snatching but not the rest. The old Marks & Spencerâs building in the square is supposedly haunted, apparently thatâs where theyâd hang witches. I think you should do another video before next Halloween. Well done đ
Thanks Kelly for watching they used to hang them in the near the race course
@@WalkWithMeTim really? I never knew that.
Brilliant. Really enjoyed that. Well done both of you. How do you order a walkwithme mask Tim?
