I moved back to Texas last March and thought oh I should live downtown. 6 months later I moved to the most countriest city in our metroplex and I have the same views and it truly was the best decision I’ve made for myself.

I agree with in the past feeling like I had to buy everything at one time. In time, I learned that the stuff I rushed to buy like furniture and decor, I didn’t even really like it that much. It feels better to take your time and just naturally come across things that you actually like for your place, it’s a different feeling. 💛

I don't wear jeans like a used to for two reasons. 1. I work from home now so I'm in comfy stretchy clothes all day. 2. Unfortunately I gained a considerable amount of weight over the past 5 years after moving to Austin and jeans aren't comfortable. I'm on yet ANOTHER health journey, but I'm praying I can stay committed this go around and not let my mental health get in the way again.
An apartment like that in Las Vegas now days is well over 2k a month and that actually might be on the CHEAP end. That’s literally my idea view, since Vegas doesn’t have much grass if I can get extremely close to the mountain line and have a view of mountains WITH quietness and NO KIDS running through the parking lots and stairs. I’d be forever grateful. I just said to my daughter who’s off to college in a few months I’m definitely going to be paying a little more for peace or moving further out of neighborhoods in Las Vegas to gain that quiet time. Because working with kids ALL day I just want is to come home and chill with my Bible in the quietness of my home🧘🏽♀️🤍🙏🏾that’s not asking alot at all.
