i dunno what i did but i made it work but here's what i recall
set both usb and disk to gpt
delete all partitions, then create a new max partition
unplug my charger (it's a laptop)
unplug my mouse (heard you should only have the booting usb plugged)
enabled secure boot and ahci (so not ide)
used uefi
usb is fat32 (recommened in rufus)
used rufus to create the drive in NON-CSM, GPT
used 4 different usbs to try (a 16gb lexor usb worked for me)
flashed new bios from asus with asus ezflash(prob didnt help)
2 days of tinkering
steps i was about to take:
installing older windows versions like 8.1 and 7 then running win10 upgrade tool
replacing the ssd
pawning the pc
