Peacock and the Nightingale by Robert Finch.

Peacock and Nightingale is a famous poem by the Canadian writer Robert Finch. It is allegorical and metaphorical poem which symbolically represents the colonizer and the colonized. Peacock shows pride in it's external beauty. It advises the Nightingale to be wise and not come in front of others as it is a tiny creature. To this Nightingale replies but the poet never mentioned the reply.

Eg. Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan. It says indirectly about the spiritual journey.
Metaphors a figure of speech in which a thing is compared to another object as it is.
Eg Life is a compus
