As a person who was brought up in my teens early 80's so much diversity in bands from New Heavy Metal, Pop rock, etc etc. Bands that stood out like The Human League, Joy Division, Gary Numan,Ultravox, OMD to name a few this is up there.
I've never been much for electronic music... If you can even call this electronic. It has all kinds of crazy elements from classical to metal undertones to electronic tints to pop driven choruses. I love this band.
