Missouri Route 80 Part 1 U.S.61/62 Matthews, MO to Mississippi River)

This is the Beginning of a three state, 8 Part highway tour. This consists of Missouri, Kentucky and Virginia Hwy 80. Beginning at U S 61/62 near Matthews, MO ending at U S 11 near Elkhorn City, VA (Part 8). Back in 1984 the Ferry service that Carried MO/KY 80 across the Mississippi River discontinued service. I-55, I-69, I-24, I-169, I-165, I-65, I-75 and I-81 are crossed throughout. Part 2 will begin at the Mississippi River on the Kentucky side. This route is very unique that starts in the Delta lands of S.E. Missouri and its eastern is in Appalachian region of Virginia.
