Giulio, I saw you in a couple other films. This film I believe stretched your acting talents. I know nothing about acting; however Gabriel is a very complicated character covering a range of emotions and behaviors; you became Gabriel. You have become a great actor, you nailed it.
I’m an 80 yr old. I have watched Dante’s Inferno and Rapture over and over again. There are so many beautiful scenes between Gabriel and Julia. But the most beautiful of all is when he knows he may lose her when they appear before the university officials the following morning. The last scene as they are on the bed and Julia says “I love you so much. You can talk to me”. Then Gabriel says “I AM TALKING TO YOU BUT YOURE NOT LISTENING” Ohhhh be still my heart. Their chemistry is the best ever. Thank you for this movie..
To coin a phrase from Driven .. Julia was Gabriel’s lifeline. She pulled him back from the abyss enough for him to see himself and humanity in a new light. Her innocence diffused his anger without him even realizing the affect she was having on him. Giulio and Melanie were the perfect actors to convey this story. It was as if Giulio and Melanie no longer existed only Gabriel and Julia. Moreover I believe Tosca knew what she was doing when she casted Giulio. His baby blue eyes, chiseled features and thick Italian accent draws the audience in even further. Excited to see how these characters continue to evoke in the next book.
Exactly how I feel. I loved this live, I learned so much about him. I have great respect for him for sharing his experiences with us. He taught me that we are all the same, same struggles and triumphs. I hope others learned as much as I did watching him. Blessings.

I personally think that if they did a premiere after everything opens back up, the fans (myself included) would definitely be willing to see it again in all its Glory in a theatre 💗💗💗💗 I'm in love with everything about this movie .. the language, the love story, the literature of Dante and Beatrice, the musical score throughout the film.... Absolutely everything is breathtaking!!!! I can't wait til the release of the third movie in October 💗💗💗
