@@izzybean913 I agree, reserved judgement until it’s read is the way to go. If you want a slightly better than Babel read, Blood Over Bright Haven by ML Wang or The Will of The Many by Jay Islington are both fantastic.

I’m quite lucky with Illumicrate usually! I would have had it even earlier but Royal Mail are kind of rubbish at the mo 🤣

I skipped this box as the book didn’t sound like my cup of tea, and I’m not mad about it. The puzzle was cool though.
I can definitely seeing it not being a box for everyone!
I was very surprised at how big the puzzle was compared to their last one to be fair!
I'm so glad I skipped this box. The day I get plastic gloves from Illumicrate, will be my last day as a subscriber. What ever were they thinking of? Cheap plastic gloves, cheap little cloth circles, and a puzzle? The U.S. edition of the book, is better imo.

I really liked this box, the gloves are a lot sturdier than they appear and will be perfect for gardening. I enjoy puzzles and it’s nice that they’re including environmentally friendly make up removal items. I would say it’s probably one of the best boxes for me since Feb 2023!
The standard U.K. cover and standard U.S. cover appear to be the same from what I can see and the Illumicrate one is just a recolouring, but I definitely prefer the Illumicrate colour scheme!
Each to their own though! I can definitely see why people wouldn’t be interested in this box
