Would be great if you could get a solid view of your work for us to follow along and explain what problems your having at that moment. No you don’t have drain your oil, most of your oil is sitting in you oil pan but you will a tiny bit drip out just be careful and don’t scratch the walls were your new seal gos and make sure you lube up the seal before putting it in
