Also, to address those of you that are local to where I fish and believe that my videos give away locations and are creating more pressure on the fish: If someone can recognize the areas we fish, they likely have already been there and know about the muskies. These videos are no worse than a photo with the fish shared on social media outlets. Let it go guys, this is the future of fishing. Get with it or get out of the way!

Eastfield lures is a premium swedish lure building company.
They have alot of diffrent lures and a hundreds of colors. All tackelshops in sweden have more or less of them. Check them out. Sorry bout the spelling i'm swedish
I have a good friend that’s works with the North American Distributor for east field - we are just now getting them in the states - great lures !
@@BlueRidgeMusky i know. Back in they days eastfield had a small price like a diplom if you took a picture of a 10 kilo plus pike whit there lure. Email them whit a thropy musky and they might do the same or they may make you prostaff. If you dont mind the swedish check out there prostaff videos on there youtube channel.
Honestly, your channel is so awesome. I'm so glad I found it. I really want to get into musky fishing, I live within an hour of anchor bay, lake st Clair. My only limitation is that I'm stuck on shore. I've found a few river mouths and channels that might be good, but I want a good musky combo. The best I've got now is a 7 ft mh with a Penn pursuit 6000, 30lb spiderwire. I'm a little worried I'm gonna snap off casting a heavy bait. I'm looking at a shimano sojourn, abu Garcia ambassadeur combo, do you think this will be a good combo? I'm a college student, so I'm not ready to pay for the high end gear Haha. Any advice is really appreciated, thanks!
Abu combos are great entry level setups. Honestly you can catch muskie on any cheap rod and reel . Just don’t overdo it with heavy baits and maybe step up to 60-80lb braid . Thanks for watching and Good luck on your first Musky Hunt !

Do you make your own leaders? What are your thoughts on flouro vs steel vs titanium? What lb do you recommend?
Patrick Fahie I use 80lb flouro carbon for my leaders . A lot of guys use wire and have good success with it but I’ve never had an issue with flouro and can tie quick and easy knots with it , plus a little extra stealth can go a long ways with a observant fish!
