- Here is a full guide on Valkyrie's new perks and skill tree upgrades for Season 20 of Apex Legends. In this guide, I break down and show you all 4 upgrades:
Level Two
- Afterburners: Launch 15 percent higher with Skyward Dive.
- Aerial Expert: Increased horizontal Jetpack speed and acceleration.
Level Three
- Full Coverage: Widen Missile Swarm from 4×3 to 3×5.
- Full Tank: Increase Jetpack fuel by 25 percent.

The missile upgrade looks very attractive to me. As I manually cancel the missile early a lot. The reasons to do so are
1) You really do not need to fire all 12 missiles in one go to hit a single enemy.
2) The cooldown depends on how many missiles you have actually fired.
I usually cancel it after 3 missiles are fired before the patch. But there were only 3 missiles in the first row so it’s difficult to hit someone. After the patch, there are now 5 missiles in the first row. Besides, the cooldown for each missile fired has been effectively reduced by 20% given the total cooldown of firing all missiles unchanged. So now I can fire 4 missiles with the same cooldown as firing 3 in before, while having a much better chance to hit someone.
Whoa I never thought about that. How do you cancel it to only fire a few missiles?
@@SonyxApexGuides Basically you just press the button to use an ultimate booster or to use any battery / medic pack while the missiles are firing, then it would be canceled early. You can time it to manage how many missile to fire by doing that. Immediately after that, you do a weapon swap to cancel the consumable usage to get back in fight.
The downside is that it can only be executed when either your ultimate is not fully charged or your shield bar / health pool is not full. And it might take some practice as it’s two cancellations in a row.
However, your opponent will be driven mad when they see a red zone every 6 to 8 seconds in the final several circles, while having their shield drained by 25 points constantly.
I’ve been using this tactics since Valkyrie came out. But I don’t think many people have posted it on CZcams, as it was originally discovered by a Chinese streamer.
