The internet is not a truck, its a series of tubes.
This is like my network teacher said: "With the internet, we're all like fish in the ocean: it's just a matter of being caught. If nothing's happened to you so far, it's cause the net hasn't been near you."
Norton Software destroyed my most expensive computer. Now the cheap laptop inflicts Microsoft control over my computer. It makes full screen open without my ever wanting it. It pops up ads, intrusions and loads programs that place desktop logos I don't want and never approved just because I allowed Microsoft to perform an update. I would never list anything important on my computer, certainly no bank info, ever. Computer use is on the way out. I am learning to never use the computer for anything except just ordinary e-mail. I use a stupid phone and have never purchased a smart phone, and never will. I own no other devices like blackberries, or tablet computers. When they manage to ruin the ;Laptop, I throw it away buy another cheapo model and still get my e-mail. Verizon has disconnected my phone from any text message ability in bound or outbound, that has served me well. The phone makes calls, and receives calls. Most calls only get to a voice recorder, few of them ever get a reply from me. I Never joined Facebook, Twitter or Snapchat, and never will, all that is useless and dangerous to allow near you. Everyday more people join me. 7 years ago I ended my cable TV subscription, just not worth paying for, everything is fake or subjected to constant advertising messages. I refuse to pay to watch advertising, it simply is stupid to do that.

Eh, the people who get this are the idiots who don't use anti virus/spyware/malware protection and open EVERY last email attachment they get.
If you keep your protection software up to date, run regular scans, ONLY open attachments from trusted sources, and if you get an unusual message from someone on your friendlist, don't open it. I get unusual messaged from friends with that "Hey, I saw a funny pic of you" links a lot, I never click them, no one ever should unless the person really there.

People are FOOLS to do on-line banking etc., and if you must use a credit card, use one with a very small limit !

is there a best antivirus or the best antispyware.and at yahoo i read about the confiker worm and its not striking because it is busy evolving so it can never be exterminated or been track down.
if you read the wikipedia report by microsoft on april 3rd 3 days after the conficker worm was launched they stopped the hacker and stopped the attack he/she had no time to actually tell the conficker what to do. it was not a joke lol..
we should keep ubuntu a secret... the more people that switch to it, then more viruses will come out for ubuntu.... same thing with mac. if u were a hacker would u want a bot net of 10 million windows computers or just 1000 ubuntu?

i put ubuntu on my comp and its funny because the viruses are made for mac and win so i haven't had virus protection for about 6 months now. I'll find some odd files just sitting around like a lame duck waiting to be deleted.
why do people still use windows??? Windows is the problem and always have been. There are so many better OS out there.

why? cuz no anti virus can pick up every virus made. :). but linux theres prob only 100 viruses made for it and most of them NEED U to give it permission and unless ur some kind of idiot who allows a program called "trojanvirus.ext3" into ur system. ur all good. ive had Linux machine(s). a mac and windows machines. windows lasted me about 3 years. mac is still good. since its Unix based hurr durr. and my Linux machine which i installed UnixB on a computer from the 90's is still workin. wiygn..
