    We gotta talk about California heat in start of July. Models have been pretty consistent that high pressure from the Pacific Ocean could strengthen right over California. A lot of people remembered September 2022 when it was hot. Even the coast was hot.

    When is this heat going to end? Is it a preview for the rest of the summer?!

      Hope not. It kinda reminds me of 2012 when I only had a trace of rain in June

      Unfortunately, during “La-Niña” summers the eastern seaboard gets cooked up by heatwaves. It’s normally very dry and humid, last summer we were in a “El-Niño” weather pattern which the eastern seaboard sees cooler summers and lots of rain. That’s why it feels hotter than normal this summer, because we’re in a La-Niña pattern so try to conserve water if possible. Since the drought of 2012 here in Georgia, I had a rain reservoir installed at both of my properties in Atlanta and Savannah. That helps water my lawn and garden, without using any of my municipal water. It has filters inside and salt pellets which helps keep down bacteria and mold from growing inside the reservoir when it’s not in use. And the extra water from the garden goes back into the reservoir which gets filtered out and used again. It’s very pricey when I got them installed, but the pumps used is powered by my solar panels which we’ve gotten pretty good use from since we haven’t seen much rain. But unfortunately, if a tropical cyclone comes off the Atlantic Ocean or back door through the Panhandle Of Florida our ground level moisture will be so dry that flooding will be a major factor regardless of the category of the storm. That’s why I’m so concerned about this hurricane season

      @@dianathefiberfan5116 Utah unfortunately feels the effects of “La-Niña” as well. The only states that feel cooler temperatures during La-Niña in the lower 48’s is California, Oregon and Washington especially the north west western Washington region where temperatures is lower than average and humidity levels is the lowest in the country. Great place for fishing salmon as they make their way downstream. I really enjoy Utah, I took my speedster out on the salt flats and really hit the peddle last year. Just remember, try to conserve water as much as possible. The average person can use up to 50 gallons per day of water, try baths than showers and if you really love showers like myself try using a filtered shower head that conserves water. People don’t like spending too much money upfront, but most times it saves you money down the road like investments 😉

    You were against tropical system forming due to saharan dust. You spoke strongly that nothing will form. I almost believed you. As Mike weather page always say, never say never with these systems

      @user-te2us7bi7k Před 16 dny

      @WeatherForce2024 yea, it's a lesson learnt. The dust should keep things in check somewhat but it's a valuable lesson to be learnt. We must be careful what we disseminate to the public and how we discredit other reporters indirectly.

      Why would anyone trust a CZcams meteorologist during hurricane season? He just going to websites we all have access to and posting videos. He is not a trained meteorologist. It’s going to be a long six months for people if they trusting CZcams weather man.
