Why hippopotamus & not elephants? I'm surprised to hear that a hippo has ever been tamed? & (what's your definition of tamed?) but they are not even close to the level of tamed of an elephant?

Welp, Job 40 seems to indicate that the Behemoth can lay down inside the rivers and be covered by the reeds. Elephants are to big to do that but that is what all hippos do.

How do you people know or not if such animals in God's creation never breathed or spit fire, when they could of. What about the creature that swallowed Jonah ?, also in the book of Revelation 9:5-11 of the the creatures who will be attacking those who go against God. And most of all the Bible talks about the two witnesses (Men) who will have fire proceedeth out of their mouth in Revelation 11:3-5. The Bible is clear on what it says about such animals that did spew or breath out fire. Be careful how you answer back about Revelation 11:3-5 and don't twist God's word or you'll regret what you say, and God will hold you accountable. I enjoy Dr. Ross but this time he is not correct, and just guessing/ assuming, when God could of create such creatures who breathed out fire "word for word" during the time of Job, and again that he (God) will be having two men (witnesses) to breath out fire as well in Revelation 11. Kind Regards and God Bless

You obviously don't understand metaphorical language. I suppose you think the anti-Christ will look exactly as described as well.

No of course they were not dinosaurs. The clear context of Job 40-41 rules it out. Those who say otherwise either misinterpret the passage and/or ignore the parts that describe them as smaller river dwelling creatures.

Did you read the passages in Job carefully? A tail loke cedar? Hippos don't have huge tails. Only dinosaurs. You are willingly ignorant of God's creation. read 2: Peter 3,4,5,6,7.

The leviathan was probably a sperm whale or a crocodile. Both animals have huge freakin tails.

@@dkhes1 Dude read the text, it does not say a tail like a cedar it says it swings its tail like a cedar. The simile is comparing the swiftness that the tail moves to a cedar tree in the wind.
