I'm sorry I forgot if I mentioned before I like the new packaging for the Vala-figs. Of course I like the work bench. 🤩 It's great to have a cool backdrop and other larger scale accessories. Great review. 🙂
I always like building small fire teams of 4 or 5, so I've got 4 of the urban commandos.
And I'm in 100% agreement here. It's time to retire the maxim 9, that m4-gery with the underslung grenade launcher, and I'd also like to see that suppressed kriss vektor that comes with all the Swarm retired too.
Great minds think alike on all counts! Thankfully I have plenty of other weapons I can swap these guys out with....that's after I finish swapping out the gummy rubber weapons on my Classified Series figures!
What other fire teams have you put together?? I regret not grabbing more male Steel Brigades. And I may pick up some more Arctic Troopers and dye them to supplement my Spec Ops teams.

@junkioncraftsandbuilds night force Steel Brigade, Swarm Horde, & Garrison Calvary. Probably going to buy a couple more of the Swarm tracers too.
When it comes to the Republic Guard, the Swarm, and the different desert figures, I've just got them all mixed in together with their respective factions. So those are actually a lot larger than 4-5.
& lastly I've got a preorder at bbts for 2 of the arctic steel Brigade, along with 3 arctic troopers, so they'll be their own little team.
I put two Arctic SBs on order from BBTS, to flesh out my own arctic team...As for some of the earlier items...man I'm still kicking myself for not ordering more regular SB male figures...aftermarket is a pain in the A$$@@Diesel0306
@junkioncraftsandbuilds Yeah, I have none of the regular SB. I just liked the colors of the night force ones better. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting a few of them.
I've been into the line since the first kickstarter failed, I've got dupes and squads of everyone of them. I really love the custom potential to the line. I know Bobby has his established canon but I have my own head canon that includes Joe, Action Force, and soon to join Monster Force. I liked the boxes but the new carded figures look awesome. The cards are not a flimsy mess like some other toy company's. I'm looking at your hasbro. I love the gun rack, the gear looks so much better on a rack then just strewn about.

I will say it's been a journey playng catchup....and rolling on ahead. I absolutely appreciate your merging of figure brands..I'm pretty open to do the same thing...Now it's just finding space for everything. So which color Vanguard did you preorder? Any conventions that you're planning on attending this year?
@@junkioncraftsandbuilds I went with stealth gray. Space may be an issue but I'll make it work. As for a cons the MD toy Expo is my local con and, I'm hopefully going to DFW and going to try to go to Zolocon.

Nice work on the 3D printed bench, I've been looking to print some set pieces for my display. I picked up two of these urban commandos and so far have not been disappointed with Valaverse. I'm hoping they reissue Pandora and Killswitch as I missed out on those.
Titan, thanks for the comments...It's always a pleasure reading your stuff. Yeah man, I have some more printing that I wanna do...maybe some how to's and such...there's only so many figure impressions one can do before it gets stale...and you need to try other things to bring some fun into your collection. I need to prime and finish these into my collection.
As for the Urban Commandos..yeah man, after messin with my first wave commandos, I'm so happy that I picked up two of them.
So are there any cons that you're planning to attend this year?
@@junkioncraftsandbuilds No cons planned right, but I'm really tempted by the TFCon in Baltimore and the one in Texas in June but both are a haul for me. How about you, any cons/con videos this year?
So far, I'm set for driving to PA this moth for ZoloCon...June is going to be the MD Toy Expo, it's in my neighborhood. Big stuff like DFW I wish I could attend, but I don't see that in my cards this year...I may hit some in the fall like RetroCon...I'll go back to LegionsCon in Nov...so I have some planned, we'll see how many life will let me actually attend.@@thetitan914
Great review brother. Great job on the work bench. I think it goes great with the review and it displays them really nice. I haven’t got the reissue of this guy yet but hope to grab a couple in the ne’er future to go with the two I already have. I agree on retiring the pistol. I’d rather get the one that came with bone collector but that’s my opinion. Love the review and hope u have a good day Micheal.

I can't say I'm smart enough to design one from scratch, or have the time, but I do like finding things that others provide and making it my own....wink wink..upcoming video.
Yeah man, I know that Vala is designing stuff all the time and tooling...but....I'm "Maxim'd" out..same with some of the assault rifles. Here's to hoping we get some new heavy weapons...like rocket launchers and the like.

This was the most disappointing offering in phase 4 fro me as well. I really do not like that vest especially with the blue colored grenades across the chest that typically denote chalk training rounds. I am sure there will be those that absolutely love it, but that is the double edged sword of packing troop builders with accessories vs. selling them separately.
Yeah, I really wish the vests were somehow more modular. I'd love to have that heavy vest these guys came with without the 203 rounds on it.
This is the only series 4 fig I haven't ordered because I do have the older one, but that red visor alone might be enough justify it😂
Hi D3th. Man I totally get because I was in the same mindset...but the red gas mask...it's something man, even with the unedited pics I took, that visor stands out. If you do decide to purchase one, I hope you enjoy it

@junkioncraftsandbuilds yeah it does look good. Bobby said more head packs are coming so I'm thinking a dark/smoke and some other colors could make their way in. You gotta love all these options.

Brother I can't charge anyone for something that I purchased..all I can say is if i bring some and accidently leave it on a table somewhere...
