Also, because of hurt and frustration in her marriage, the yelling in arguing is devastating to the vocal cords. I feel a strange mix of sorrow, that she lost what was so dear to her and us, and anger that she allowed it to happen. But with the pressures of her kind of super stardom and her personal problems we can't judge. If you're someone who loved her for who she was and what she did then let's hold on to that and celebrate Whitney no matter. She stumbled for 5 minutes at the end. In a few days, it will already be 10 years since she passed away. Such a loss! Such a tragedy! In my opinion, we lost The Best Singer Of All Time Period. Not one of, The Best & The Voice and she was a true natural beauty! No plastic surgery. She had it all and what breaks my heart is that she wasn't happy. Whitney, you are deeply missed. She is so honest 5:11, I think she was having breathing vocal problems due to her cigarettes which affected her heart. If she gave up cigarettes, and exercise she regained all her instrument and been mentally stronger. I think she chained smoked more when she was sober actually to substitute for not taking the substances. I blame the people around her for not taking better care of Nippy. They seem to only care about the money that she can make for them. I love her head/superhead register here though angelic!!!!!!

Take a look at the time when Whitney sang IWALY in Birmingham, 2010 I believe. She had a black dress where you could see her shoulders. Strangely, her high were good (Tell me what you think if you don't mind even if I'm answering 8 years after, lol) but when she hit "And I will...", well, not good unfortunately 😕. I Love Whitney 💘 no matter what but when you see her sing in Birmingham, it made me believe that she could get her Voice back, at the time. When she passed away, it broke my heart. It really did... May she Rest in Peace ✌.
She could still sing high notes, she just couldn’t sustain them the way she used to. It takes a lot more breath to sing those notes and she had very bad emphysema.

As someone who used to have the "Whitney" album on repeat for months straight, it was devastating to watch (and hear) some of these concert clips. That's the first truthful comment that I've read on here and I totally agree. I believe she knew the condition of her voice but just wanted to squeeze one last buck out of her fans. Seriously though, she must have seen one of these concert shows and saw what a mess she made of her vocal cords. She probably figured this would be her last tour so why not get all the money she can before it's way too late. After all, without her singing voice where would the money flow come from after that's gone. I think Streisand is another one who takes advantage of her fans expecting that they would show-up no matter what she sounded like....as she herself doesn't sound that great lately either and I'm sure she realizes what age has done to her pipes. Bottom line.... it's all about the money for these performers.
