That's because one: he's a cat. Two: he has no fear for his life.

While my favorite remains Y'shtola with her no-nonsense power walk (because it's just so perfect), gotta admit, G'raha does motor across there.
Minfilia walks it super super slowly and holds her arms out to balance herself, it's adorable
Alphinaud does the same.
Even has a badass boast too as he just clears the tightrope easily
Thancred literally says: 'This wouldn't even fool a child.' before he dashes over the damn thing, skipping most of it. Like I needed to feel bad about having to do this the slow way, lol.
Word of warning, don't try to do the same thing. I tried and the boss punts you back to the start. I figured if Thancred can do it, so can I, but it doesn't work that way. Presumably, the rules are different for players.
meanwhile thancred just...uses shukuchi.
Damn he's fast, he can easily replace Ryne and Alphinaud

The first take I fell a couple times trying to pay attention to what he does and I just stopped assuming they wouldn't be able to do enough DPS to meet the check. G'raha and Thancred cleared it in no time and then the 3 of them proceeded to destroy the boss perfectly fine without me (because In was trying to die on purpose).
Next test is who wins in a race, G'raha or Alisaie.
If there's at least 2 fast walking NPC and one who goes at mid speed, they'll clear the dps check without you, best composition is Alisaie Thancred Urianger, but Y'shtola does good work too since she does huge dammage. Ryne and Alphinaud are way too slow for that.
Urianger still takes a bit with his teleport. I'm thinking Thancred, Alisaie and G'raha would probably have it whiffed down a good chunk before my hesitant butt gets over there.
Yes but he's still faster than the slow ones, but now with G'raha you have 3 speed demons to blast the illusion before you even try to get to the other side
I did the test with G'Raha, Alisaie and Urianger : 1st : G'raha, Alisaie and Urianger arrive at the same time, less than a second after G'Raha (so yeah, Urianger just casts a spell, but he's as fast as Alisaie who was the fastest before G'Raha comes in)
Cats have good balance, after all :)
Oh yes, especially Miqo'te.
Hrothgars, maybe not so much. I have a Hroth and a Lala. It's almost elementary to scurry across as my Lala, but my poor Hroth has to pussyfoot it across because I have trouble figuring out where his body's center is in relation to the catwalk.

Well, he is a Miqo'te, so his balance is unmatched. XD
Well... I broke the rule, i'm bad at parkour, i fall almost one time here, and this is easy... XD
I love the the Machinist only has to go as far as that first corner. The Lyre's in range after that.
Thancred's the Gunbreaker. Not the Machinist. And you need to be inside the Lyre in order to actually damage it.
I believe they meant the player being MCH can reach the Lyre, but yes you are correct, you can't damage it from across the room or no one would actually walk the bridge.
That sprint killed me xD

I'm curious if he reacts differently depending on his role, too. I usually have him as tank rather than DPS, since I already have Thancred at 80.
He doesn't. I have brought him as all roles.

I give him a pass since he was the team's Rogue before that. He's still an Archon because of his knowledge of stealth and reconnaissance.

@@ronaldverdegaal9078 it won’t work with any movement/Gap-Closer abilities ranging from Shukuchi, Dragoon’s Spineshatter/Dragonfire Dive or Black Mage’s Aetherial Manipulation since your character hitbox is always glued to the ground despite animations say otherwise.
That was my intuition on how that would work.

Does Exarc have anything special? Since you unlock him for leveling all the trusts to 80
I haven't tried it with his Exarch glam even though I have it unlocked. I assume it is just that-- a glam.
@@Zivalene it shouldn't be though? Because you could get Exarc before G'raha was even released as a trust memeber
Just ran him through Dohn Mheg kn his Exarch glam, his efforts and lines are identical. Meaning that G'raha is a separate entity from the Exarch that is used in Story Scenario dungeons.
